Stayed at the beach front villa with direct access to the beach . It’s the best type of accommodation of all the rooms that the hotel offer. The staff really takes care of the beach. They smoothen the sand out and clean the beaches every morning. You wake up to a clean litter free beach. That’s really the bonus. However being so close to the beach, there is always people sitting infront of the villa. Less privacy and distracting the view. There is a block of water right at the steps before you enter the villa. That’s a very nice touch to clean and wash off sand before going into the villa and avoid too much sand in the room. Another good bonus. Another nice touch, clean towels were provided after every two days The front porch was good to hang out and chill. It was also good pls to dry wet cloths as there is not enough hooks and hangers. We were happy the villa comes with a bath tub. In general the entire villa is a lil rustic but it’s clean and still good condition The location is away from the noisy street which was good but it also means there is only a few restaurant/ shops option nearby. It still works for a short beach getaway. The water is pretty calm and shallow. Not much to see during snorkeling but it’s still fun to see fishes. The view of the beach at night is pretty and has a touch of Italy with all the lights on the hill. Overall a good experience and lovely stay

Start with the bad stuff: we booked a more expensive beach house because we thought it would be slightly more luxurious but when we got there everything about the room was old and really dirty. We had dirty sheets on the bad, the couch had weird stains in it, the chairs in front of the house had super dirty cushions, somehow there were even weird white stains in the curtains. Floor was sticky. So all in all it wasn't a very nice environment to stay in. The hotel has a private beach which is okish, but poor in comparison to all the other places located at the same beach. Just plastic furniture with uncomfortable cushions but its lacking any kind of fun atmosphere or character. . The good stuff was that the kitchen is very good. The food they make in the restaurant is great. Except for the egg lady at breakfast, it's her only job to make eggs and still she manages to mess it up. The pool is also nice and seems well maintained but then the showers again are not maintained at all and hardly working.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the private beach is superb, excellant swimming pool and good restaurant. Had a poolside room everything worked and cleaned regular. Its a bit out of the town centre about 30mins walk along the beach, taxi 400baht or 50 baht in van..A few restaurants and cafes within 5mns walk but not a lot.Staff very helpful and friendly, great stay and would recommend.

Fist bungalow is really well located and gives access to two bays. The private beach is great and water is really clean, great pool. You can easily walk to town. Breakfast is large and many options. Service is very friendly. Overall clean and tidy. Nevertheless our rooms were in a building behind the parking lot, not in the hotel complex, which was kind of sad. Room is large, bit outdated but decent, good bath, but terrible balcony with a meter away, view on the front neighbors balcony… expect a lot of retired Europeans/Dutch, not trendy place but calm and relaxed.

Private beach and pool are fantastic. The service of the staff was fantastic. Unfortunately, the beds were incredibly hard and lumpy, and the pillows also too hard and large. As we checked out, we overheard someone lying on a lilo in the pool saying, "Not being funny, but this lilo is comfier than the beds!" The staff again were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. Only complaint is the beds.

The hotel is not fancy. But it is very clean. If you stay there, definitely book the beach bungalows. I have always wanted to stay in a bungalow on the beach! The ocean water is gorgeous!

This was our second visit in a year, and it remains our top choice! We're certainly planning to return!

Stayed in an amazing bungalow right by the beach, 1 minute walk into the sea for a swim! Really nice room and helpful staff. I definitely recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise A great find, wish I could stay a day or 2 longer.

We extended our booking after loving it so much. Very very upset that our holiday here came to an end

Excellent breakfast, super friendly staff, hired scooters from the hotel, they have their own. Beautiful pool, lovely gardens. Only critical comment is that they should NOT allow people to smoke in the restaurant, people have no respect for others eating. Good value for money.

This hotel is located at the end of Chauen beach. So it will cost you 100 Bhts every time you go to town. But that's the only thing about this hotel. The hotel is old but clean, it has lovely large swimming pool. Since the land is very big, you can always have some space and privacy. The private beach is spacious and quiet, staff's service was jolly, various menu was served at breakfast every day, and it was good. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Fantastic, relaxed place to stay. Very nice swimming pool and great for a lower budget. Highly recommend.
