Lovely place on top of the hill overlooking greens and the ocean. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was huge clean and comfortable! Everything was well maintained and cozy. Location a little hard to reach especially if you plan on walking. So best to get a scooter. Steep hills to get up to the hotel.

Great hotel with great and attentive service as well as very clean facilities. We've been welcomed very warmly by all the staff at the reception. Our room had a great and straight view on the sea, located just above the pool. The hotel itself is build on a hill and it's not easy to walk up to the rooms, however, the staff is always ready and offering shuttle service which is great.  Our room was very clean, the bathroom offered enough space. The only thing I wish could have been provided were some more toiletries (such as tooth brush, comb and a shaver). Breakfast selection on the buffet was quite limited but sufficient for a 3-4 days stay. Besides that there was an a la carte Egg Dish menu, which was very nice. Recommend the Egg Benedict, these were poached daily perfectly.  The location of the hotel slightly remote but quiet on the other hand. Plus, there's a van shuttle service twice a day and hotel itself provides drop offs down to the main road whenever needed. Bike rental is just bedside the hotel, which made it even more convenient.  Overall a great time at the Mantra Hotel, can only recommend. 

The view is Amazing !! Nice view to the océan The room is big … But a Little be fare from the street if you dont drive a scooter (Like me) it cost 9€ GO and 9€ back just to go out …  the food for dinner nice but prices of the spa and dinner Little bit excessive .. they forget we are in thailand ! Is cheaper to take a Grab GO and back and take dinner and do massage outside, in the city

It’s a very nice resort little far up in the mountains up a narrow road quite dodgy in the heavy rains we experienced during our stay. The rooms are great I would of liked to see them give us some toothbrushes. The staff are really kind and helpful. Overall pleasant experience . Incredible view from your room.

The hotel is amazing, one of the most beautiful places. However, it is located about a 10-minute drive from the fishing village, so you'll need to consider using taxis to get in and out of the hotel. Other than that, the place is perfect – an excellent breakfast, a really good spa, a pool, and stunning views.

This hotel provide great service and it’s a very nice place well maintain and a great location with the most beautiful view in the island.

The hotel has excellent service particularly in reception where they will do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The restaurant although is lacking in quality other than the breathtaking view of the island it doesn’t have food to compliment it. My girlfriend got really sick after eating the tom yum goong shrimp where she was bedridden and had to puke multiple times. The breakfast buffet also does not offer much for a 5 star resort and is very basic. Overall this is a great stay if you are a couple, the highlights of the mantra samui is the breathtaking view and the infinity pool and gym also the rooms which are spacious and clean. The lowlights are the restaurant and the location which makes it hard to get out of the resort unless you have a rental car.

Our room was really spacious with a huge balcony. Great room With amazing views. And amazing sunrise, same with the panorama restaurant, breath taking views over breakfast! Very nice staff and accommodating, very sharp! It’s just a bit far, however, far from the noisy streets

Good hotel. Clean and good service of the people working there. The place is not ideal. Not for people who get tired fast, because walking from the rooms to the restaurant is a hard walk. And it was our honeymoon, so we told this to the hotels we have visited. All hotels dit something with the bed or even an extra upgrade. They did not mention it.

Great place. Very clean and nice hotel and good place to stay, relax but the way up to the hotel is quite narrow road. Not much parking space.
