Khwan Beach Resort - Luxury Glamping and Pool Villas Samui - Adults Only

If you like Ko Samui ,this is probably the best resort of the island. Large discreet villa with private pool, no neighbors to disturb you 😀 the beach is very close with semi-direct access (secure door) from the villa to the beach. Every evening, there is a singer at the bar to have a good evening.

This place was just an absolute dream. My partner and I arrived after a few crazy days in Bangkok, arrived at the hotel super early and they were still happy to accomodate us. They secured our luggage, checked us in and we were welcomed to change and utilise the pool for as long as we needed which we had to ourselves whilst we waiting for our room. The hotel is literally next to the beach. It's less than a 2min walk literally at the end of the lane. The rooms themselves are beautiful and the aircon was faultless! Yes, you do get a few mosquitos but that is exactly what the nets are for, once we closed the nets we didn't get bitten overnight at all. As long as you keep the doors closed the mosquitos for us were minimal. The huts were very very clean, well stocked with everything we needed and the bed was so soft and comfortable, we had the best sleep of our whole trip here. There is entertainment in the bar pretty much every evening and the espresso martinis' are definitely worth checking out. They offer room service too via whatsapp which was so quick and efficient, each hut has a doorbell at the gate to maintain privacy so all you need to do it head to the gate of your hut to greet! Overall, this was by far the best booking we made on our trip. So quiet, undisturbed by any traffic noise, clean, cosy with the beach on the doorstep and very friendly and accomodating staff. We will 100% be checking back in next time we come back to Thailand. I will never get bored of showering at night time under a banana tree looking at the sky.

We’ve just returned from Khwan Beach Resort. We were in a two bedroom glamping villa which was amazing! The standard of the accommodation, gardens and pool was all outstanding. The resort is a 2 minute walk from the most stunning tropical Maenam beach where you can find activities like jet ski, paddle board or kayak. Also along this beach you can find some wonderful places to eat and drink on the shore line including Moonhut, Nature, Nana Beach and Silent Treehouse…. Food and drinks were cheap and we didn’t have a disappointing meal once! Most areas felt quiet with very few brits - which suited us. You can organise excursions or car/bike hire via reception. Would definitely recommend the Samui Elephant Home and Pig Island was fun! Fisherman’s Night Market is every Sun, Mon, Wed & Friday - great food, bargains, cocktails / lots of haggling in the heat! We used the Song-Thaw (local transport) to get to/from - great fun! We only ate at the on-site restaurant Passa twice in the evening. We found the singers every night just a little too much (loud / old fashioned - not our taste sorry) They have a great breakfast menu though which we enjoyed. A handy Seven Eleven shop is just up the road for essentials like local Mozzie sprays/creams! Overall and fantastic holiday location & Great value for money! Thank you / Diolch

This is a hidden gem- beautiful decorated tent villas and so private. This has it all. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and I just loved all about the place. Nice pool and just a minute from a peaceful beach Staff is very friendly and there is such a nice relaxed atmosphere in this place. Until next time, I’ll be back

We spent 11 nights at the resort & loved it, Khwan Beach gives a different meaning to camping. The tents were perfect.The beds were very comfy and there was the added bonus of your own private garden with sun beds.The pool area was quiet & relaxing.The manager Antoine & staff were excellent,very friendly, efficient & attended to any issues immediately.The only down side was the restaurant Passa, which is run independently to the accommodation.The nightly live music in the restaurant is loud & amateurish which meant we ate out every night except for one.When the restaurant owners were there the service was good & they were very helpful, but when they left, it was a different story. Breakfast service was slow & you didn’t know how it was going to turn up. That said there are lots of good eating places close by. Have to give a mention to Kuri & Emma who were working at night.They were good fun & always happy.

This place was a complete let down. The tented "villa" was mouldy, the sheets on the bed did not feel clean (which led to me developing a terrible rash as a result), the mosquitos nets didn't close around the bed, and worst of all there was only a hedge between our tent & the road so we couldn't sleep for the three nights we were there. We'd been booked for 5 nights but ended up having to get a new hotel just so that we could sleep and recover from this one. Honestly, this "resort" completely soured me on Koh Samui as a destination.
