PS Thana Resort anmeldelser

This review is based totally on our experience of booking a BEACHFRONT BUNGALOW, we did not see any of the other rooms or the resort as a whole so unable to comment on that. Although the staff we met at PS Thana were lovely and helpful I just wanted to caution others thinking of booking the beachfront bungalow - We booked the beachfront bungalow directly with the hotel after seeing photos on their website. We were prepared for the accommodation to be basic, this is reflected in the price. However, on checking in we realised that there are two beach bungalows , one is facing the beach with a small seating area looking out to the beach /sea - not at all private as there are rows of sunlounges steps away from you ( not shown on website photos) However the other bungalow is at the back of this one NOT beachfront. There is a small window but this has no view at all. The outside seating area looks out onto restaurant /reception . We felt that the photos online were misleading as they only show one of the bungalows. If youre just looking for a base at a resort, a clean room for a cheap price then this would fit the bill. However it wasn’t what we thought we had booked. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to check out (a refund was processed 7 days later ) but as all the other rooms in the resort were fully booked we then had to find alternative accommodation at very short notice, not a great start to our holiday in Koh Samui. On a positive note we spoke to people who were staying at the PS Thana and they loved it, it was just a shame we were unlucky with our accommodation.
