Traveling to Thailand during the low season is honestly not worth it due to the constant rain. The cleanliness of the beach left much to be desired, and the hotel breakfast was quite poor. We often felt like we were bothering the staff rather than being welcomed. They weren’t attentive to whether guests needed anything or lacked something. We even visited a local clinic, and they wanted to charge us 2,200 THB just for calling a doctor and speaking over the phone. It also felt like the only thing that really mattered to the staff was the tip you might leave. All in all, we don’t think we’ll be coming back.

Silversand resort is a safe bet when staying in Koh Samet. Ideal location on one of the most beautiful beach, silver beach, the property offer clean and nice rooms with beautiful sea or garden view. No swimming pool but acceptable since being 1 min away from the beach with a dedicated hotel area. Very good breakfast with great choice. Highly recommended property!

The room was clean but the bathroom had a lot of mold. The view from room number 46.

This hotel is a paradise, super nice beach, amazing food at the restaurant and pretty decent room to have a rest. I will come back soon. Things to improve: no friendly receptionist, tired waiters and loud music at night. The rest was perfect, thanks for treating me like home ❤️

Silversand Resort offers a wonderful beachfront experience with an unbeatable location right on Ao Phai Beach. While only a few rooms are directly sea-facing, we stayed in a garden view room that was still well-appointed and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The buffet breakfast features a decent variety, including a live egg station, salad bar, breads, pancakes, rice, curry, vegetables, and fresh coffee. One small note is that the 10:00 AM cutoff for breakfast felt a bit early given the laid-back island atmosphere—perhaps a slightly extended timing would better suit guests on vacation mode. The resort maintains a no-smoking policy in its restaurant area (except some designated corner space), including the beachfront section. While this is appreciated from a health and family-friendly perspective, it may feel a bit restrictive for guests looking to fully unwind in an open-air setting. That said, the overall experience—from the location and food to the service and accommodation—was excellent. It is on the pricier side, but the quality and beachfront charm make it a worthwhile choice for couples or anyone seeking a relaxing island escape.

Great hotel! We stayed here for 2 nights with friends. Excellent accommodation, good service, inexpensive restaurant at the hotel, nice beach. I will recommend this place.

Lovely room. Resort right on the nice beach. It can be noisy at night. My room was at the back of the resort so it was fine. Overall, nice stay.

Perfect location 10/10 but not for family or if you plan to sleep early it’s loud until 12.30 but the mechanic and people working there are nice checkin/out was seamless. Room is okay for the price

Busy resort, our rooms were good and clean, at the beach front were perfect for relaxing and having massage. We had booked the rooms with breakfast included, but it wasn't in my standard what they served. The service and staff were good and helpful.

Location near beach and food was so delicious. Service was good. Cleanness was ok.
