Green Papaya Beach Resort, Koh Phangan

This place is really great. It is located on the south end of Salad beach. The pool is 1,8 meters deep, well kept and right next to the beach. When we visited they were renovating the restaurant so there were no buffet breakfast however the a'la carte options were truly good. The overall location is in the middle of the jungle and it felt awesome and I would recommend everyone to visit this place.

A very nice hotel located by the beach. The staff were super nice and the rooms and areas were kept very clean. Nice pool area. Breakfast is deliveref to enjoy outside the house as the restaurant is currently being rebuilt.

What a beautiful place to spend Christmas and I was looked after so beautifully by Nani and Orr Lovely quiet part of the island however taxis are easily arranged if you want to explore further afield and the beauty is that the resort is located right on the beach Fabulous service, immaculately clean, and the gardens tended so lovingly by conscientious staff Great beachside restaurants nearby to choose from and lovely beach for swimming and snorkelling I’ve already booked my return stay! The hotel is located in one of the best location of the island. i prefer the west coast as you have longer light and beautiful sunset compared to the east coast. The staff was really efficient and proactive compared to other hotels i have been to in thailand. It helps a lot to relax. The room are really clean and comfortable with AC and anti mosquito net. The beach for me is one of the most beautiful but also quite. As said before, the sunset is amazing and you feel like in a postcard. I even had complementary yoga class

Wir waren im Juli 10 Tage im Green Papaya. Für uns war der Aufenthalt traumhaft. Die Lage ist direkt am Strand von Salad Beach, der für uns mit der Schönste auf Ko Phangan ist. Die Zimmer sind schön, wenn auch einfach ausgestattet. Es hat alles, was es braucht. Der Pool ist sauber und riesig, es gibt liegen sowohl am Pool als auch zum Meer. Herausragend ist der Service, denn sowohl Management als auch Servicepersonal bestechen durch authentische Herzlichkeit! Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura con la mia famiglia ed il posto è perfetto per i bambini. Il personale è gentile, c’è una piscina con acqua bassa dove possono giocare e ci hanno prestato gratuitamente giochi e braccioli. Le camere sono accoglienti e confortevoli anche se un po’ di manutenzione servirebbe, sopratutto nei bagni. La doccia esterna era praticamente inutilizzabile perché la pressione dell’acqua era talmente bassa che non si riusciva nemmeno a pulirsi dalla sabbia. Abbiamo dovuto utilizzare la vasca. La posizione è fantastica se si cerca una vacanza all’insegna del relax: la spiaggia su cui affaccia il resort è bellissima, balneabile anche con la bassa marea. Lungo la spiaggia si trovano vari ristoranti e a pochi minuti ci sono anche piccoli mini market e un atm. Non c’è tuttavia un vero e proprio paese, ci si trova un po’ fuori dal centro abitato e se si è senza mezzi propri si rimane in balia dei taxi con prezzi altissimi. Il vero punto dolente della struttura sono i servizi, praticamente assenti. Il ristorante è in ristrutturazione quindi la colazione viene servita in camera all’orario scelto il giorno prima e questo limita un po’. Durante il giorno si possono richiedere dei piatti dal menu che ti vengono sempre serviti in camera o in piscina ma la qualità è bassa rispetto al prezzo e un giorno abbiamo aspettato 1 ora per avere 3 sandwich. La comunicazione alla reception è difficile perché il livello di inglese è basso. E comunque non ci sono altri servizi offerti, a parte chiamare il taxi: niente tour o gite. Nel complesso comunque la struttura regala un soggiorno piacevole, grazie alla bellissima piscina vista mare e al giardino ben tenuto che dona al resort una bella atmosfera tropicale.
