We had a wonderful experience at this family friendly resort. Our room was room 103 and we had the most amazing view on Salad beach. The room is not luxurious but it is a very good size, the bed is massive and very confortable. There is a large terrace with a hammock which we used a lot. Yes the resort is on a steep hill but it never bothered us, if anything it made it quite fun. The breakfast is a bit limited but good enough, we had dinner there and the food was good. The atmosphere is great for families, it’s a very relaxing place and if you like music, they have really cool music on the big terrace throughout the day. The terrace itself is excellent with beautiful views. The pool itself and the pool area in general is very clean. The direct access to the beach is brilliant, and salad beach is a beautiful beach with truly beautiful emerald colour water. There are several restaurants on salad beach which are very good. The staff at the resort were all really nice. We hired a scooter from them and the service was a breeze and the price was reasonable. It is worth hiring a scooter to get around easily, in any case if you want to discover the island properly you need your own transportation.( we strongly recommend to go to the wave sunset bar which is close to the resort for a beautiful sunset and amazing food!) Don’t listen to the bad reviews, when you pay the equivalent of £50 per night for three people including breakfast don’t expect 5 stars, we thought the resort was really good value for money. We would recommend this hotel to anyone we know.

One of the best hotels that I stayed in Thailand. Room and bathroom were clean, the bed is really comfy and the views are so beautiful. Swimming pool by the beach and good breakfast. The people that work here are very kind and helpful. Great location to explore the north of the Island.

I stayed at Cookies Salad with my son last weekend. The place was very nice and cozy, room is spacious, clean. Staff are super friendly, helpful, and caring. My room has sea view, the place is shady, trees are well taken care of. The massage service there is also very nice. We really enjoy staying here. The place may not be suitable for elderly because it is quite steep.

We stayed in the waterfront villa. It was perfect for a few days relaxing with the family. View was spectacular. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for a family of 5. Lovely kitchen area. Breakfast was superb, and only a few steps from the beach. AC was cold and water was hot. Lots of towels given and super clean! We didn’t leave the hotel much, but you would need a scooter or car to get around. A few restaurants on the beach, and a shop, but nothing else in the vicinity really. The hotel restaurant was fab, and really reasonably priced. Staff were lovely - a lady on the desk even helped me source a birthday cake for my son, which was lovely! Warning - there are MANY huge mosquitos in the resort, so take lots of bug spray! I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I was looking at returning to Koh Phangan.

We liked our stay at cookies! We lived in private cottage with sea view and were very pleased with beds and the kitchen. The room also had tv and wifi that worked well. Because closeness to the nature we had trouble with ants invading all food and had som geckos inside, but thats what we think is normal for staying so close to nature. We would't have changed room anyways! The room had also big cooler and freezer. Breakfast was very nice for us who could eat everything. Maybe nice to have some yoghurt and for example musli or cornflakes aswell. For one of us with gluten intolerance it was more difficult with breakfast with no bread options but that we also understand somehow and he could est the fruit, eggs and warm food options mostly. Wery nice staff and helpful. We enjoyed our two weeks at this hotel. We also walked to the village nearby ,hat yao. The restaurants at salad beach were the best during our stay in thailand. We ate thaifood and it was absolutely the best! We could snorkle from the beach easily when not too much waves and it was close to for example koh ma and snorkling there. A bit long from thong sala and pretty expensive taxi/songthao to/from songthala for a family. During our 2 week holiday june/july we had a lot of sunshine and only little rain. A few cloudy days but that was nice to have a few cooler days. I would absolutely visit cookies again and the same villa we had close to the sea!
