Check ALL reviews, not just Excellent ones for a true reflection of this "RESORT"! Gorgeous setting although TIRED &/or NEGLECTED facilities. Nice to learn post stay, it wasn't just us the wife had an issue with...downright ignorant & blatantly rude throughout our week there! Our solution, to avoid at all cost! Stunning mountain backdrop & beautiful dusk/evening wildlife sounds, plus joining neighbours antics as Bamboo huts not soundproof but that's out of owners responsibility. Pearl (pebble) beach & grocery store 10 mins walk / White Beach 30 mins walk. Pool unusable, nobody used it at all. No Restaurant or Bar in use, but tatty & inviting, so wouldn't have used, but great Restaurant at bottom of drive that saves the day. If driving up, take care to not bottom out your car on steep incline. Scooter rental competitive, but one of ours had awful steering & swap not offered. Wife insistent we returned EXACTLY 24hrs later, not a minute more! Adjoining fields have development work going on & our hut had rotten floor board that you have to remember not to tread on at all times of the day or night! Oh, did I mention, when we arrived, we were given keys to an already occupied room, so take heed to protect your valuables. If these things won't bother you, great gem of a place.

a very nice hotel located in the forest. There are cottages with bathrooms and large terraces. Breakfast to choose from (4 types). Parking. Scooter rental on site Service 7/10 Cleanliness 8/10 Pool 5/10 Breakfasts 7/10

Booked a two night stay here with friends, but ended up extending our stay and I would have stayed forever if it was possible! We started off in the standard double rooms, which were perfectly nice, well equipped and great value. I then moved in to one of the bungalows, which was another level! Sooooo lovely, traditional Thai, very pretty and massive king bed. They also have a tree house, which looked pretty cool! There is a small pool, which is perfect for cooling off and a pretty bar area. The owner, Marcel and his wife (sorry, didn’t catch her name) were great hosts, very helpful and friendly. We all got our laundry done here and we hired bikes from them at a reasonable price. In walking distance there are a few bars and eateries, as well as a supermarket, but you are only five minutes on the bike from the much busier White Sands resort. Thank you for a great stay, I will definitely be back, hopefully in the not too distant future 😊

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wir buchten 10 Nächte und stellten dann bei der Ankunft fest das der Pool total verdreckt war und das Wasser grün war. Die Terrasse war frisch mit Lack gestrichen und es roch überall nach Lack. Meine Freundin bekam daraufhin starke Kopfschmerzen. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und es gab fast keine Ablagemöglichkeiten und keinen Schrank . Alles war sehr abgewohnt . Anscheinend waren wir auch die einzigen Gäste . Ich nahm dann Kontakt zu dem Besitzer auf und sagte ihm ich wolle aus den Gründen das Hotel wechseln. Wegen dem total verdeckten Pool meine er es liegt daran weil es oft geregnet hat in letzter Zeit. Er lehnte es ab das ich von dem Vertrag zurück treten kann . Ich verbrachte eine Nacht in diesem abgewohnten Zimmer und wechselte am nächsten Tag das Hotel.

Ich war noch nicht dort und wäre es gerne. Dennoch nehme ich die Bewertungen hier ernst. Es mag sein, dass die Unterkunft gut ist. Jedoch kann ich die Buchung deswegen nicht akzeptieren, weil man kein Geld zurückbekommt. Das ist einer der wichtigsten Preis-Leistung-Beurteilungskriterien. Schade deswegen☹
