Awa Resort Koh Chang

The place is quite lovely, and the staff is polite mand always ready to assist the guests. It is super clean and tidy, and the food is amazing. However, there are things that I cannot overlook. The Internet is one of them, we did not have an internet connection at this hotel. The wifi signal is horrible. There are too many ants. We had a room on the fourth floor, and they managed to climb up there. If you leave some food on the table or a desk, there should be an ant party within 30 minutes. The place is kinda old, it doesn't feel like a four-star place. Some things are outdated. The restaurant is pretty expensive compared to the other restaurants close by (mango sticky rice is 200 compared to an average 100 outside)and the beach bar was closed due the renovation. We had fun here and we will be back. I highly recommend this place for families. This is not a critique but a guideline on how to improve. Cheers!

Very disappointed. This is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in on Koh Chang... and I've known many since I've been coming to this island regularly for 20 years. No beach, a disused building that completely blocks the horizon and therefore the sea view, a parking lot very far from the hotel, staff unsuited to the demands of a job that can't be improvised and requires quick responses, a limited number of places to lie down by a completely deserted pool when a pseudo singer delivers decibels that blow your mind. Insignificant breakfast that serves cold fried eggs. We're willing to return the key to go, a few kilometers away, to a 200 m2 villa with a pool... barely more expensive and on the edge of an idyllic beach.

The staff are so friendly and so helpful. The location is great, left and right have 7 eleven and nice restaurants. Breakfast has so many choices and so tasty

The front desk staff was very helpful, providing great recommendations for nearby restaurants, places, and transportation. The hot water wasn’t working initially but was quickly fixed. There were a few ants in the room, but nothing major. Breakfast was okay. The hotel doesn’t have direct beach access. Overall, a pleasant stay.

This hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the service is excellent. However it doesn’t have a beach but you can swimming instead.

The toilet is not clean enough especially the floor. The service is not good, the room wasn’t ready when we checked in at checked in time.
