The Reef Hotel & Studios

不建議中國旅客住這家酒店，服務員基本上見不到。拿着翻譯軟件問她們都是一問三不知。房間不打掃衞生，床上都是沙子。評論説早餐好但是中看不中吃。瓦皮酒店老闆服務很好，沒有對比就沒有傷害。

The hotel is really nice!! We reserved the family room. The hotel is walking distance to the Walking Street of Ko Lipe and to the beaches, Pattaya Beach and Sunrise Beach. The Thai immigration too, is not too far from the hotel. Transportation is easy to get, so no problem. The service given to us by the hotel, were amazing. Since we took the family room, we had breakfast included. The breakfast is excellent and it is limited choices. The only downside is the staircase to the family room, not practical for elderly or for those who cannot really walk up staircase as there is no lift/elevator in this hotel.

Booked 4 nights in advance based on good reviews. Breakfast was delicious - home made bread in a lovely restaurant. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t able to get cool enough to enjoy a good nights sleep despite putting the AC on 16deg on the second night. When I told the owner (Matthias) after the first night he suggested I check the AC setting and that maybe the filter needed to be changed. The next day, I told him that I didn’t realize the AC was only at 24deg, but he didn’t proactively change the filter to ensure no issues. Also, the in-room safe didn’t work, even when they left the key but there was no effort made to change the safe. I had told Matthias after one night that I might look for another property as I really needed a proper sleep. Matthias acknowledged this and hoped the room would be sufficiently cold the next night. Alas, it was not to be. Matthias kindly refunded some money for the 2 nights I canceled - for the breakfast and non use of electricity, but I was surprised he still charged me for a couple of Americanos after my inconvenience and his lack of proactiveness. When I mentioned this to him at checkout, he was almost indignant…. Frankly not a good feeling. Overall, a nice feel to the place but I’d never go back not recommend others to stay.

Good location, magical breakfast, filtercoffee. What more can you expect? You can choose from an a la carte breakfast meny, all of the five ones are topclass! Really. The owner is danish and he is very nice as a host. Located in the middle of the small island so you don't need to use the meaningless taxi that destroys the island.

The breakfast was incredible! Great location, at the Centre of Lipe - easy to walk everywhere. Room was clean and well maintained. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and more welcoming staff. Thank you!

Fantastic lovely place to stay in lipe. 10/10 for everything. No kidding. Location was awesome and very quiet place to rest. Couple managing the place was friendly and helpful. U will not regret booking this place.
