Residence Inn Knoxville Cedar Bluff

This review is 15 months in the making. In January 2024, our family spent three weeks at the Residence Inn Knoxville Cedar Bluff after being displaced by a house fire and we returned again in April 2025 for a few days before moving back home. During both stays we enjoyed hospitality that is second to none. The Residence Inn Knoxville Cedar Bluff checks all the boxes to meet the Marriott standard of a superior hotel in a safe, convenient location; clean and spacious rooms that follow the Residence Inn blueprint; and comfortable public spaces inside and outside. There are also numerous dining and shopping options just minutes away. Our family looked forward to the daily breakfast with a great selection of hot and cold offerings. What makes this Residence Inn so special is its staff. Their heart for customer service is genuine in every area of the property, 24-7. Being from Knoxville, I was proud to witness them rolling out the welcome mat of Southern hospitality to guests from all over the country. During our two stays in 2024 and 2025, we spoke to a number of repeat guests. No surprise why they made return visits, just like us. Traveling extensively in my job, I have stayed in Marriott properties for more than three years of my life since the early 2000s by my calculation. This property will always be my favorite for the care and compassion shown our family. Count on the Residence Inn Knoxville Cedar Bluff and its associates to provide a great stay of any length for business trips, leisure travel or when life throws a curve ball.

We stay exclusively at Residence Inns as their pet policy is the same in all of them and we travel with a standard poodle. Check in easy, all the usual Residence Inn parts such as the standard breakfast buffet and easy check in. Easy on and off the interstate in complex of several Marriott brands. Staff were ok but not overboard. Hotel in fairly good shape.

Excellent staff, Reagan at the front desk was very engaging and helpful on a number of questions I had. I was very surprised she had only been there a month. Ownership has a great hiring process. Rooms are clean as was the whole property. They do need to update their TVs. They are flat screen but the first generation models.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a place to stop over for a short visit before moving on to another location. Hotel was well located, clean and comfortable for our visit. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating which made the experience pleasant.

The people who work in this location are AMAZING. From the front desk daytime to night time, breakfast crew, each and every one has compassion and kindness. The people you have working for you make a hotel experience and these ladies are over the top! My husband was here for two weeks for work and our family traveled with him the first few days. They made us feel like the most important people and had hot chocolate ready each evening. Ended up my husband injured himself (off site) while there and they were so kind to us through that whole process and us returning. They made our lives so easy that two weeks!! Management should be so grateful for their empathetic, polite, welcoming staff!

We were just passing through for the night. We got the last room which was a handicapped room. Very spacious. We have stayed in other ones like this. The bathroom was larger but otherwise I feel the amount of space throughout the suite was the same in other Residence Inn’s similar to this. The girl at the front was extremely nice. The place is so clean and well stocked room. In the morning we are always very close to breakfast being over. It’s your usual oatmeal , breads , egg, sausage. There were no more egg fajitas when we got there.. yogurt , coffee and I loved the lemon packets to put In my water. They also had cookies upon arrival. We could not find an ice machine and forgot our full-size refrigerator had an icemaker inside of it. We asked the girl at the front desk in the morning where the ice machine was and she said the hotel doesn’t have any but she would get us a Ziploc bag of ice so she did that and when I asked her, she was doing another task for the hotel to keep it clean and she just stopped what she was doing to help me. She was extremely nice and willing to go out of her way which I didn’t want her to do. The hotel is in a safe area and tons of places to eat you really can walk to. Would definitely stay here again. Last time we were in the Knoxville area we stayed at Turkey Creek and I was not happy with it there so we tried to Cedar Bluff and I am so happy that we did. We are Marriott Bonvoy members and this place was just exceptional.
