We had a really good holiday staying at Sunstar Hotel Klosters Switzerland. I know it was their low season but this must rate as one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed in, not even a noise from closing doors. Our room was very well furnished, beautifully clean and had a balcony that looked out along the valley. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and we had good choice at breakfast. As we were on a half board stay we chose our evening meal at breakfast from a varied menu. The food was always beautifully cooked and presented. The hotel is a convienient short walk from the station so we were able to use the Davos/Klosters Card which gave us free local rail travel and discounted cableway travel, which certainly enhanced our holiday. In summary, yes we would certainly return and plan to do so again soon.

We have visited many resorts and stayed in many hotels in Switzerland. The Sunstar in Klosters has taken the top position in our favourites list. I have never felt so calm and relaxed on a holiday before. I absolutely love the peaceful location and beautiful views. The hotel feels like a hidden gem in July, and Klosters Dorf for me, is the best sort of quiet Swiss village. The efficiency and convenience of public transport just a few minutes walk from the hotel, alongside tradition farm buildings and chalet style houses with beautiful window boxes. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place and the time of year for you. The hotel staff are wonderful. They are always smiling, extremely helpful and skilfully attentive. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious, and the kitchen was extremely accommodating and accurate with any requests we made. Luckily for us, we were able to enjoy breakfast and dinner outside on the terrace on a number of beautifully sunny days. We adored the peace and quiet of the garden and the swimming pool too. We had a beautiful room with a large balcony facing the mountains. There was great attention to detail paid in the cleaning of the room. The bathroom was extremely stylish, modern, and immaculately presented. We greatly appreciated the mini bar and coffee machine too. A sincere thank you to the wonderful reception and restaurant staff, and everyone behind the scenes, for giving us such a special and memorable holiday.

The best choice we could have made for this holiday was choosing Sunstar Klosters. This hotel performed at an exceptionally high level on every front. The new management Alyt Aeschlimann & Tobias Georg can be absolutely proud of its employees and the new impetus they give to this hotel.

Very comfortable and convenient hotel with excellent food. Lovely to ski back from Klosters Platz across the meadows at the end of the day. Charming and very helpful staff. Peaceful location but still convenient.

I've been coming here with friends since 2008 or 2009 and always enjoy the warm welcome and facilities and the well-thought out menu. Great for skiing and hiking depending on the season! In good snow you can ski back to the hotel.

Nice Hotel situated in Klosters Dorf, just 5 min walk to the slopes. Fantastic food and really taken care of. Rooms are comfortable and bathroom is modern. Staff really nice and helpful. View is gorgeous. Transports are free and well organised.

The hotel, setting, staff and facilities are outstanding. It's worth opting for the best rooms if you can. We took the picturesque and efficient train from Geneva with the hotel's offer if you stay for 7 nights or more. The hotel also provided a card to use on local transport and for money off activities which was excellent. We found booking direct was the cheapest option and included breakfast.

We arrived with two other couples (six people total and one dog) to a lovely welcome from Olivia at the front desk. We enjoyed ever aspect of our stay, including a wonderful breakfast in the restaurant and impeccable service from the professional staff. It is conveniently located in a quaint village setting just off of the train at Klosters Dorf. We will be back!

We stayed here before our Davos X trails race. Everyone was helpful and friendly, and the location was lovely - near the train station and the gondola.they even provided lunch to go for those of us starting the race early. We would happily stay here again!

A very enjoyable stay in a lovely hotel in a great location with the most incredibly friendly & helpful staff. Azadeh & Olivia on reception were incredibly friendly & helpful. Azadeh was absolutely amazing at the effort (& many many phone calls) she made to track down and rescue our luggage, which got lost for 24 hours in Zurich airport between Swiss Air and the SBB train service. Petra & Maureen in the restaurant were also very friendly & efficient & great fun.

Always a great visit. Thank you to all the staff as always. Super convenient to Madrisa and the ski school for kids. Great ski room with boot warmers. And the shuttle van to Madrisa and Gotschna is perfect for a family. The interim host is absolutely welcoming and accommodating. Can’t wait to return next season!

This was our third visit and it won’t be our last. Although it is not in the main part of Klosters the hotel runs a shuttle minibus service to the ski lifts. Alternatively the train station is a short walk. The food is delicious. Staff service exceptional. Our room was comfortable with a modern stylish bathroom. It is difficult to find anything to fault. I have already fed back to the hotel that the tiles around the pool are needing some refinishing but otherwise the pool and spa are lovely.

Very comfortable clean rooms, excellent food, delicious breakfasts. Delightful staff who are most helpful. Avery nice place to stay. Shuttle service to the centre of Klosters or a nice walk across the fields.

The hotel is well maintained and welcoming. The menus are interesting and well presented with an occasional disappointment. I liked my room, as it has a view down the valley, and it has recently been refurbished.
