Beautiful location, really nice rooms, super friendly staff and awesome food. There are different themes of food every day so the buffet stays exciting. Support the locals by going on excursions around the island and buy clothes, accessories and wood carvings on the beach.

Lovely Hotel and Beach Resort and Spa on the exotic Island of Zanzibar on the Indian Ocean. The food and entertainment did not disappoint. The people were friendly and the front desk and waitstaff were exceptional. The beach and pool was relaxing and the drinks were delicious.

My review is a bit late, but I would definitely like to recommend the hotel to anyone planning a trip to Zanzibar. My wife and I spent a week here on our honeymoon in October 2023. The hotel was built in a beautiful, authentic African style. It has a huge tropical garden, just taking a walk in this beautiful environment was a great experience. The beach is also fantastic, we spent most of our time swimming in the ocean. We saw some sea urchins in the water, so water shoes are recommended. Our room was flawless with everything you need, really liked the handcarved furniture. The staff were very friendly, service was professional. Food was excellent, as was the evening entertainment shows. There is also a very good shop inside the hotel with fixed, reasonable prices. We will definitely come back in the future!

Our experience at Bluebay Beach Resort and Spa was awesome and spectacular. The location and service from the staff was exemplary. Enjoyed stunning views of the sunrise over the white sandy beach, making each morning a breathtaking spectacle. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was super friendly, instantly making us feel special. Local Management are super cooperative. Their assistance in exploring the resort and the surrounding area was invaluable, enhancing our stay with seamless and delightful experiences. The connections we made with the locals allowed us to immerse ourselves deeply in the vibrant culture and natural beauty of Zanzibar. Culinary Delights are outstanding. The dining at the resort was a highlight, with Chef Khan. His culinary creations could easily compete with the great restaurants in India, satisfying both gourmets and those who simply enjoy a good meat and sea foods. We wholeheartedly recommend the Bluebay Beach Resort and Spa to anyone visiting Zanzibar.Excellent location, exceptional staff, and exquisite dining options all combine to ensure a memorable escape.

It was wonderful stay. The beach is marvelous, food is delicious ,and the staff members are very frendly. I highly recommend the bluebay hotel. Best holidays ever!!!!!! We saw a lot of lizards and beautiful birds in the magnificient garden.

What a lovely welcoming resort. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Joyce, one of the barmaids, always greeted us with a smile and was so attentive. The waiters in the bar and restaurant were outstanding. The beach and pool area are brilliant. Ample loungers and nice towels, no one hogging sundress early morning. Food was great. A wide variety of tasty foods available. There is a slight rush at 7.30 when lots of people arrive, but the food is topped up regularly. We enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially the Massais and the acrobats. On the slight negative - I would recommend booking the new deluxe rooms. We were in a superior room, which was very dated. That said, the bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful and hot and the air conditioning was great, so would didn’t want to complain. Looking online, the new rooms look great, so would definitely go for that if we return. So in conclusion, a wonderful resort where you can enjoy the beauty of Zanzibar, just set you expectations regarding your room.
