I would like to bring the following items to your attention that need urgent attention if you would like to retain customers: On our arrival on Friday the 18th of April, we found that the reception team was not ready for our arrival despite them asking me on email what time we were arriving…….. Twice. Rooms not ready despite us sending 2 emails to confirm our arrangement and bed selections. The baby crib was falling apart, it was missing some support brackets. Our toilet seat was cracked. We literally only had 1 x toilet roll in the room for 2 x days. At least we had the toddlers wet wipes. Shower wasn’t fixed to the wall properly causing it to spray water on the bathroom floor. We had to use towels to soak up the water and not to slip on the floor. No Extraction fans in bathrooms, No windows that can open or shut. Our room only had a key for one door, the sliding door opening up to our pool could not lock, it didn’t even have a locking mechanism anymore…….. The bar fridge was not making anything cold, we did not have a teaspoon to make coffee with, we only had one glass in the room.......... Some of the TV channels were not working or it had very bad reception Very loud around the pool / bar area, music all Bongo to suit the local staff and not the guests. We did not understand a word of the songs. They did however play some other music upon our third request. The tv's at the bar were also on channels where you could barely make out anything on the screen. Dinner - very average, not a big selection and honestly tasteless. Only a pasta bar for kids meals. Dessert was awful, no ice cream. No burgers, fish fingers, calamari etc for hungry kids. You can buy Azam Ice Cream for Tsh 500 each........ to keep the kids happy. You can also buy Azam juice for Tsh 600 each. Why not have a curry or 2, roasted meat or chicken and potatoes????? Breakfast……. No Macon or Bacon. Or any other sausages other than processed meat, chicken sausage. We could choose between overly cooked / still raw burnt waffles and oily pancakes. They only had Ice cream syrup for toppings and honey. The chef making omelette doesn’t even have a spatula so he cannot cook anything else other than omelettes. He cannot cook normal eggs to your liking because there is no spatula to cook / turn them with. Drinks. All full board - Very limited selection on “ local beer” what a joke. The best selling local beers were not available like Kilimanjaro and Serengeti to name but a few even though they are selling cheaper in the local market place than the Pilsener beer you had available. This soens not make any sense. None of the 3 barmen I asked for the same cocktail could make proper cocktails. They each used their recipe despite the menu stating the ingredients and mixes. They also use strawberry ice cream syrup instead of the usual Grenadine. The shop at the hotel is not managed by the hotel, by Saturday morning they ran out of suntan lotion. We were told by hotel management to g
