Maingate Garden Inn

It’s an amazing value for the price. The rooms are clean and location is prime for visiting the theme parks. There are also dozens of restaurants and shops nearby with late hours. You don’t really see the staff much, but they are super responsive in the rare event you have an issue.

Room was very clean as always. When we visit the Orlando area, Sonders is where we look to stay first. Everything is kept very nice and the staff is extremely friendly. We needed towels, we got towels. We had a little bed accident, they gave me clean linens. It’s also extremely helpful that it’s a hop, skip and a jump from Disney property. Very convenient. Thank you Sonders.

I found this hotel as a few British YouTubers had stayed here and said it was incredibly cheap, so I thought why not! I hadn’t been to Orlando in 6 years and we were doing a budget trip and the price is e paid for this was an absolute STEAL! For what we paid, I really cannot complain at all. The resort itself was really well looked after and everywhere we went it was clean and tidy. The rooms themselves are massive! You can tell the rooms have just been up cycled but they’ve done a really good job and the beds were incredibly comfy. The only improvement I can think of is the lighting, it’s just SO dark in the rooms. Other than that we had no complaints. We did pay for the room to be cleaned once whilst we were there and I do recommend it if you are there for longer than a week. We did end up having to leave early due to the hurricane and they were very accommodating. I would recommend if you are going to Disney; to get an internal bus to animal kingdom lodge from whatever park you are at, and book an Uber from there back to Sonder as we found that made our Ubers a lot cheaper. Loads of good places to eat in walking distance and free parking if you have a car.

Service extremely poor, no flexibility or compassion/empathy whatsoever. We got Covid and requested to cancel accommodation only few hours outside the cancellation period, they refused to accommodate us and provide a partial refund or even a credit voucher . Very disappointing, we had booked several Sonder stays during our vacation, but this will be the last time we book with sonder.

Self Service checkin and checkout. Room spacious and very well kept. Very clean. Everything worked great, wifi, TV, show with all the amenities. Parking easy and right in front of the rooms. Definitely recommend. Went to Disney and didn't use the shuttle because it was full, also the times weren't the best for me and I prefer the freedom of using my own car. Parking at Disney was 30$ and there's a free metro rail between all the parks, so you can park in whichever park you prefer.

I’ve stayed in a Sonder when I went to Arizona and I was so glad to find one in Orlando ! Super simple experience and private. I love a place when you can go in and out without any hassle, but also feel like if you need help they are a call away. The decor is also very unique.
