Trident Hotel was a great place to stay. The hotel is tucked into a quiet corner of Kinsale so everything was walkable. Breakfast was fantastic and we had dinner at Wharfs Tavern twice. Food and service were excellent! We will stay here again

We got to our hotel very late in the day. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The views from our room weee stunning. A little ways into town and most restaurants were closed that day we were in town. Charming little town. We saw seals from our room. Breakfast was okay. Prepaid as part of a group.

Old and tired hotel in need of renovations in my opinion. Room lacks amenities - like a coffee maker. View of the parking lot and construction. No where to plug in things. Outlet taken by lamps. King bed is twins shoved together. Noisy halls with doors slamming.

Our stay at the Trident hotel was wonderful. The view and location were fantastic, we received a map of the area upon check in, and the daily breakfast was very nice. Should we return to Kinsale, we would certainly stay at the Trident Arms again.

We have stayed at the Trident Hotel several times now, and have never been disappointed, it is a lovely place to stay in Kinsale, a simple walk around the town, convenient to restaurants etc. Rooms are bright and clean, facing the harbor, and are very comfortable. the highlight for me was Breakfast, if you need Gluten Free food, this is the perfect place for you, the best breakfast I had in Ireland..... delicious cooked food, the best sausages etc and a great selection of fruits etc etc In addition, the food in the Trident restaurant is also excellent, and well priced. we would look forward to staying here again, and recommend it one point I was unaware of, the harbour view, front facing rooms, have air conditioning, rooms at the side, the classic rooms, do not, if this is important, just be aware and book harbour view, however, there are windows that open in all rooms. Staff are lovely, kind and attentive.

What a wonderful weekend away! This is an amazing hotel, everyone we interacted with during our stay were so friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of waking up to the stunning view across the water on a beautifully sunny Sunday morning. The room was excellent so roomy and comfortable and with its own private balcony, we sat out for hours chatting whilst drinking coffee and watching boats and kayaks go by on the calm waters. Breakfast was a delight with so much choice and again the views from there were amazing. I highly recommend the open prawn and salmon sandwich in the restaurant, it was so filling I struggled later with eating dinner! We'll be back!

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, location, beds pillows, food and most of all staff..all amazing The hotel close to all reasturants, bars and harbour. The staff were so friendly and efficient .. Hotel as lots of relaxing chill out areas, good free parking. Loved the coffee machine in the room.. Definitely will be back.

I loved our room, which was one of the rooms at the very end of the hotel right on the water. Amazing. Really beautiful room with an outstanding view of the bay and boats. The bathroom is lovely with a walk in shower and room for toiletries. Location is good on the edge of town, a bit out of the noise. My only reasons for not giving it five stars is because the hot breakfast was disappointing for both of us on both days, and the housekeeping staff left dirty linen in the hallway all day. Loved everything else.

Easy parking close to main entrance. Friendly and fast check in. Room was spotless and high quality bed and linen. Two litre bottles of water await you daily. View over the harbour is fantastic and that’s one of the main reasons this hotel gets five stars.. Restaurant staff and food are excellent. The young bar staff are well trained and create the right tone for an enjoyable drink.
