Great location, vending machines were temperamental and pricey. Rooms were basic, but clean. Bedding was full of hairs but we were given a new room. And it was great. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice. We left our luggage with reception and collected it before heading for our train home.

No problem checking in great room the staff were very helpful and a bonus of a fantastic breakfast

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience during my stay at your establishment. Despite booking for 2 nights,20th -22nd Nov 24 both evenings were marred by a lack of adequate heating in the room. The first night, after requesting a room change due to malfunctioning heating, we were only able to move the next day. The portable heater provided was insufficient and did not alleviate the cold. The following night, we encountered the same issue with the new room. Despite reporting it promptly, the heating could not be fixed. The mini portable heater offered was ineffective, resulting in an uncomfortable and freezing night's sleep. Sleeping fully clothed and with winter pajamas on due to freezing temperatures is unacceptable for any guest.It is disappointing that no one followed up on our situation or inquired about our comfort after such a challenging night. In light of these circumstances, I kindly request compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort caused during our stay. I trust that you will address this matter promptly and offer a resolution that reflects your commitment to guest Kind regards P.M

Great hotel in centre of Hull. Great facilities and bar. Lots of room for entertaining. Lovely breakfast as well

Had a sofa bed with a dirty duvet and no covers for mattress. Not comfortable in talking to people to ask for sheets. So slept on the towel on sofa bed. Still old shower gel on shower door from previous person

Great for a hassle free stay - very efficient checking in and out. Clean room, decent breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient parking. Would stay again.

The instruction on access to the hotel carpark could do with being highlighted at the time or soon after the booking because we had stopped in front of the hotel entrance at street level which is a bus lane and bus stop and we are a little worried right now for getting a bus lane ticket. The sign for the car parking arrangement is a small plaque next to the hotel entrance we can see from the car at the kerb side but we had already gone onto the bus lane. Another slight moan is the bed being a little too soft and in these day and age it should be a king size bed…. However, we are happy with the helpfulness of the staff both at reception as well as during breakfast.

Absolutely spot on. Unfortunately arrival coincided with a riot but hotel was locked down, arrangements were it in place to ensure guests could still check in and ran smoothly considering the unusual circumstances. Room comfy and felt safe. Ideally located for the train station and central to most things. Staff very friendly and a great stay, thank you

Ideal location that offers spotlessly clean accommodation. Good night’s sleep in an outstandingly comfortable bed. Super inclusive breakfast that offers something for all tastes but no other meals on offer and the bar area was rather soul less. I’d stay there again though as it’s so well placed for station and the room rate is reasonable compared to other hotels around the city centre.

Hotel location was central. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was good size and has the basics expected from Holiday inn Express. Breakfast was average but cannot fault it.
