Loved this place. Spent a couple nights in Aug 25 and nothing but praises to say about it. Breakfast was delish. Recommend highly!

I travel to work in Kilkenny, have stayed in many of the B&B’s, and now only stay in Laragh House. It is always pristinely clean and comfortable. Helen is very professional and runs a tight ship, while also being exceptionally kind and warm. It’s a great place to stay, and so well located for the City. Can’t fault it, and clearly nor can so many others who come back to stay again and again.

Our party had booked the whole place out for a family wedding. They couldn’t do enough for us and went above and beyond getting anything we asked for. Definitely recommend a stay here as beautiful clean rooms great location and amazing choice of breakfast all cooked fresh. Thank you again Helen and Sarah

Stayed on my stag party with my mates great breakfast clean rooms friendly staff highly recommend to groups we had the run of the place lounge area to have a few drinks snd patio area outside for the smokers top notch

Best Weekend Away.... Unfortunately we arrived at Laragh house Late, and we were greeted by the owner Helen. Such a warm welcome but we didn't expect anything less going by or previous correspondence by email and phone. From the check in to the recommendations of the best restaurants and Irish music in kilkenny. The room was spotless and breakfast was the icing on the cake. We liked it so much that we have booked in advance for our anniversary next month. . And also thanks to Helen she even dropped us to the train station so we wouldn't be late . This is the place to stay. See you soon Sarah and Paul. Longford .

Couldn't recommend Laragh highly enough. From the moment I arrived, this ticked all the boxes, close to kk centre but just far enough outside, great breakfast (which I was late for which was absolutely no issue), big spacious room, comfortable bed, private bathroom with bath and shower, offer to a call a taxi, I really could go on. Thanks Helen

We spent one night at Laragh House in April, while touring in Ireland. Helen was so kind and accomodating with us. She gave us a warm welcome and took the time to share some recommendations to visit the city! The room was large, very clean and we were served a hearty breakfast! I highly recommend Helen's B&B in Kilkenny as I'll be glad to come back one day!

I hosted my sisters hen party here at the weekend and we had a ball. The house is perfect, we had 13 stay over and had the place to ourselves. We had full use of the sitting room that backed on to a garden. We were able to host there and were able to decorate it and had an entertainer come over too. The host arranged taxis for us for town and we had a lovely breakfast the next day. Its a 5 minute drive into town. It really felt like we had hired a private venue, it was perfect. I would highly recommend for any hens.

We had a lovely stay, the room was clean and the beds very confortable. Both guests are really welcoming and the breakfast they made was tasty and generous. A very nice and quiet place to rest when you visit Killkenny for the tradfest (just 15 min walking from the old town center)
