Kihaa Maldiverne ødelagde min bryllupsrejse. Dette var vores 5. besøg i Maldiverne, og denne udvej ændrede mit perspektiv om Maldiverne.
Dette sted har en liste over ulemper, som jeg ikke ville være i stand til at liste her, men her er et par stykker:
1. Buffet spredning er ud over forfærdelige. Du får det samme sæt varer som - havre, omlette, salat uden saucer til morgenmad. Den samme tun- og kyllinggrill til frokost og aftensmad. Selv vores særlige bryllupsrejse middag, der var vært ved havet, havde den samme tungrill og kyllingegrill, bare at den blev præsenteret marginalt bedre. For at være præcis har hver frokost/middag den samme struktur uden nogen forskel i smag - sauterede grøntsager, ristede kartofler, noget indisk karry, som er usmageligt, grillet tun med en grundlæggende smørsauce, grillet kylling, en okse/lam karry, som igen er meget almindelige, dampede ris og lidt smagløs pasta/nudler. Salatafdelingen har den resterende salat som eneste salatvare. Intet udvalg af ost / saucer. Dessertafdelingen har 4 genstande, som gentages næsten dagligt.
2. Resortet er bogstaveligt talt i ruiner, du kan se vandvillaen bogstaveligt talt blive nedsænket i havet. Der er ingen lys i passagen, vandgennemstrømningen i vaskerummet er lav, de giver dig ikke vasketøjstaske/tøfler.
3. Vandlivet er også gennemsnitligt med ingen indsats for at genoprette korallerne. Selv snorkeloplevelsen var foruroligende.
4. Baren har bogstaveligt talt ingen lager overhovedet. De fortæller endda, at du skal opgradere til All Inclusive på tidspunktet for chevkin ved at betale 120$ pr. nat pr. person kun for at blive ked af det senere.
Den eneste gode ting ved udvej er personalet. De gav os en værelsesopgradering af sympati. De gik ud af vejen for at sikre, at opholdet er overskueligt på trods af alle de nævnte ulemper. Den 1 stjerne, jeg giver, er kun på grund af personalet, der kæmper for at komme ud af resortet. Kihaa er et af de tre resorts, der er sortlistet i Maldiverne.
De 5 nætters ophold her føltes som en fængselsoplevelse, hvor vi ikke engang kunne forlade stedet, da dette er super langt fra Male og båd/søfly er super dyrt. De sørger også for, at du betaler havflygebyret lige ved check-in, så gæsterne ikke kan løbe væk.
Personalet ser empatisk på dig og ser, at du har mistet dine penge til denne skuffende ferie.

Maldivernes mest populære 5-stjernede resorthotel har et smukt miljø og kan kaldes et paradis At bo i villaen er tæt på stranden, og du kan nyde den enestående strandudsigt. Fantastisk!

Der var mange myg på øen og sengetøjet havde mider, hvilket gjorde vores ophold virkelig elendigt. Derudover er hotelmiljøet ikke godt, og mange dele af vandhusene og villaerne er forladte. Hovedårsagen til, at jeg reserverede dette hotel denne gang, var, at jeg havde en meget god oplevelse der sidste gang. Men jeg fortrød mit ophold denne gang. Derudover var hotellets morgenmads- og aftenbuffeter virkelig forfærdelige. Jeg har været på mere end et dusin resort-øer i Maldiverne, og maden her er for skræmmende. Der er 8 basisfødevarer hver dag, som er oksekød, fisk, kyllingenuggets, grøntsager, ris, nudler, indiske bønner og kartofler. nogle vestlige kager (tre eller fire varianter), intet andet. Jeg føler i hvert fald, at det er værre end indenlandske trestjernede hoteller. Problemet er, at hvis du ikke spiser her, er der intet andet, du kan bestille at spise (flere barer, restauranter og kurbade på hotellet plejede at være lukket). , hvilket kun efterlader en buffetrestaurant og en poolbar. Det er helt i strid med Ctrips 5-stjernede vurdering. Det anbefales at annullere de 5 stjerner for at undgå at vildlede kunder.

Resortet er meget smukt, vores værelse med infinity pool var vidunderligt, personalet meget venligt og altid smilende, desværre var kvaliteten af maden utilstrækkelig

We got the last mint deal and it was a great trip except they were not registered with the local tour department so had a small trouble at the airport which then was resolved by the hotel.

I would never recommend anyone to book this hotel, they are scammers they put the hotel price cheaper and then you will be given with the bill of USD 800 for flight when you arrive and once you pay that only you will be allowed to go into your room.
Also the meals are terrible everyday same meal and there is no other activities to do during stay. This is not a 5 star hotel can be are 3 star or even low.
What is heard was this was used to be a top 20 hotels in Maldives before 2 years now it’s terrible.
If you plan to book think twice.

Im so sorry that finally we reached our dream destination, but we choose the wrong hotel to stay. It is maximum a 3* hotel with very out-dated rooms and facilities, the food was just simply horrible and its a shame that they provide this to high quality guests. On the whole island there were no wine and beer during our 1 week stay, fruit was just uneatable, boring low quality breakfast, untasty dinners, really just simply unaffordable for european standards. 1 week was not enough to prepare the safety box in our roon. Drainage and bad smell in bathroom, mudy aircon, very low-maintained areas. Once it could be a glamurous hotel, but theese days just struggling with demotivated, missinformed staff. However waiters was very friendly, thats to only point I can give connected to the hotel.
Last but not least Maldives itself, the white sand and blue water and spakling under-sea life is breathtaking, therefore it is even a bigger dissapoint to stay in a hotel wich is not harmonised with the surrounding.
This hotel is horrible!!!! Not even 2 starts worth!!!! Without any explanation I will upload some pictures so you can assess it and take decision. On pictures look good, and it was good years ogo, but now apparently this hotel is under sale so no one cares about it!!

Never before I wrote negative review but after this visit I must do it! It is not our first time in Maldives resort, but this what we saw in Kiha 5star is really terrible!!! Do not go there if you dont want lost your time and money! All review with 1 star are true… terrible food, ( rat in dinning room) terrible bar offer( we payed for all inclusive gold…it means include alcohol and soft drink) wine, beer was not in bar all time of our vist…one day was vodka, next day just whisky, gin… everything missing! See and underwater life is nice. But in island are too much mosquitos, that you can not relax on the beach! You still have to kill mosquitoes, which leave painful bites. In mattresses was some isect, which leave painfull bites too…. The employees are fed up with so many complaints and the guests are desperate because even after several emergencies at the reception, nothing has changed. Everybody are in this place unhappy and atmoshere is terrible! We were soooo happy if we can go home! You can see photo of my son bites from mosquitos and housband bites from bed.

It our first trip to Maldives me and my wife, and we were so lucky to choose Kiha Maldives hotel, it is one of the best experiences I had with beautiful island and resort, a special thanks to Mr. Jaheed who took care of us from day till we checked out, with amazing services. Very bad as I can’t explain the food is very bad and even they don’t have a variety of food the facilities, no entertainment cleaning is horrible the staff are very poor and they didn’t get salaries on time and they are upset every one here us complaining about everything the owners lefts the resort without money it’s waste of money ,don’t visit it

I recently stayed at Kihaa Resort Maldives, and unfortunately, it fell far below expectations for a property that claims to be a 5-star destination. In reality, the resort would struggle to meet even a 2-star standard. Restaurant and Food Quality The dining experience was one of the worst aspects of the stay. Food options were repetitive and lacked variety, with the same unappetizing dishes served daily. The heaters at the buffet were rarely turned on, leaving items like beans, sausages, and other breakfast options cold. Meat dishes were consistently tough, and the only fish available was a hard, flavorless variety. The so-called salads were basic and unappealing. Presentation was abysmal: dead or dying plants dotted the restaurant, tables were often left dirty after guests left, and birds scavenged openly. Cushions were either missing, dirty, or soaking wet. Cutlery and glasses were mismatched, scratched, and in poor condition. Even napkins were missing, with only cheap tissue boxes provided on tables. The breakfast selection was shockingly poor, with low-quality bread and runny jams resembling cheap jelly. Pancake toppings were sugary syrups more suited for a fast-food chain. Drinks were another disappointment. The bar routinely ran out of staples like Coke, tonic water, and iced tea for days. Alcoholic options were severely limited—cocktails were missing key ingredients, and despite a menu listing five gins, there were none available. Hotel Facilities and Services The general facilities were in a state of disrepair. The advertised luxury water villas were derelict, with broken windows and scaffolding left in plain view. Upon arrival, the welcome at the airport was unenthusiastic, and staff at the resort itself offered a half-hearted greeting. We were not informed about the resort’s unique time zone, resulting in missing meals because of incorrect timings. Many advertised amenities, including a club, wine bar, lounge, à la carte restaurant, and children’s club, were permanently closed without notice. The main restaurant, the only spot with proper lighting, forced guests out at 9:30 PM so staff could reset the tables with minimal effort—dirty table mats were reused, and glasses and cutlery were randomly arranged. Seating near the bar was extremely limited, with just 15 seats for over 200 guests. Cushions were in terrible condition—often wet, stained, or ill-fitted to the benches. The lack of entertainment was glaring; the only offering was an amateur projection of random films on the beach, which drowned out any music in the bar area. The beach bar and pool bathrooms were consistently unsanitary, lacking toilet paper, soap, and towels. It was better to return to your room than use these facilities. Rooms The rooms were tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. Fixtures like taps and showers were old, and the water pressure was almost nonexistent. A big disappointment… old, rusty… terrible food. No selection at all… 1 kind of beef, 1 chicken, 1 fish and 1 veggie curry , 1 soup… for lunch and breakfast. Selection pf fruits??? Apple and canned pinapple!!! Island is Infested with mosquitos. Please spend your money elsewhere
