Very convenient for the cruise terminal and a short walk across a concourse from the railway station. It is a 4 star hotel and the rating is correct. There are no frills and everything is basic but clean and efficient. The breakfast was good and the chef makes an effort to please. There are two problems for English speaking guests. There are no English speaking television programs, not even Sky News, CNN or BBC. The other big problem was the attitude of the manager of the roof top bar. I stayed there on the night of the England v Holland Euros semi final. I was expecting to watch the match in the bar after dinner but for no apparent reason the bar manager banned the football from being shown. The duty reception manager took pity and allowed me to watch the match on the Reception TV they use for hotel information. The Rooftop bar manager needs to remember he works in hospitality.

We liked the hotel very much. For travellers who want to use the ferry to Oslo with car, the location is particularly convenient. The hotel has a big garage and is located right in the center of town. Check-in at the hotel was very professional and friendly. The room was exactly like the photos on the website and offered a beautiful view onto the Kieler Förde. The breakfast was very rich. We did not take advantage of the dinner because the rooftop bar and restaurant was closed due to a private event. The only negative point was that we had to log on to the wifi again and again when the computer was switched off. We will gladly come back again.

Spacy room. Nice staff. Fitness lacks basic equipment like a bench. Would have rated it higher, BUT the room does not include ironer. Tried to ask for one, but the receptionist said, it is not possible. Instead I was offered to send the clothes for PAID ironing, which will be delivered back the day after. This is a major issue, when travelling for business

it is a modern hotel and reasonably priced. It is filled with transient businessmen. While clean and comfortable it seems a bit sterile. Friendly service minded employees are non existent and the front desk is either poorly motivated or terribly inflexible. It is probably one of the nicest hotels in Kiel but the experience of staying there is underwhelming.

This is an exceptionally great hotel. Right across from the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and only steps to a covered shopping mall that joins the pedestrian shopping area. The rooms are spotless, the beds are super comfortable and it has a great work station/desk with great internet. The breakfast buffet was perhaps the best that I have experienced in all my years of travel with selections including eggs done any way you wish or even waffles. There is also a small workout room and sauna area on the 7th floor and a bar on the 8th floor that opens to the outside (and is very popular with guests). There isn't a single negative that one could say about this hotel.

Very nice hotel with a central location. Very good beds, we slept very good. Nice and friendly staff. Very good breakfast in a cozy restaurant. Excellent view of the city and harbour from the roof bar.

A very new, modern hotel directly opposite of Kiel's main train station, and therefore also close to the Scandinavian ferries. My room was spotless, with a nice minibar and coffee machine. It was also quiet (facing the courtyard/ city). Good breakfast, though the seating was a bit... well, not cramped, but I would have appreciated more small tables for 1-2 persons. Overall a very good and relaxing experience, still.

Well, were to start. I have obliged for 2 years to all rules re COVID-19, got infected last year with the delta variant and have since then difficulties breathing i.e. through the mask. Since the mask wearing rule was lifted, I started booking hotel trips with my family again. However, I asked specifically and several times at the booking direct via the hotel reception if wearing a mask is required and the answer was clearly NO. Of course it was just a lie and we were treated like scum including our little children 2 and 3 years old. They claimed the right of the landlord to overrule the law. Nevermind, that was not all. We made the booking weeks ago and booked specifically the same suite number 515 again as we liked it last time around. Of course that was confirmed without any hesitation. At check in something happened we still can not understand. They took a pen and made out of the 515 a 715. A room without i.e. a balcony. Asuming we shall pay the same for an inferior room! We asked why and the answer was something illogical. I said we will not move and then they said okay we make some calls and see what we can do. Suddenly we got 515 back. I believe they were overbooked and promised someone else the suite and tried their luck. The whole stay we were made feel uncomfortable. My wife was close to tears. We felt so unwanted that we decided to have our breakfast outside the hotel. Voila Atlantic Hotels you are blacklisted and I will tell all my business associates (600 on LinkedIn) as well. If you stay a little tip for what it is worth: rooms facing the train station gives you the sun in the afternoon or evening and not early morning to wake you at 6 am as the curtains close not up completely.
