Our travel agent booked this hotel for us, primarily because of its proximity to the sand dunes and the availability of air conditioning in cold weather, as we were traveling with our young family. While the hotel rooms were spacious, the air conditioners didn’t work at all. We had two units in our room, and neither functioned. Although the reception staff tried their best to resolve the issue, they were ultimately unsuccessful, leaving us uncomfortable in the cold. The experience with the camels and Berber music was enjoyable but quite short—lasting only 15–20 minutes. Unfortunately, it was disrupted by a larger group of Arabic guests who began playing their own music, causing most others, including us, to leave early. In contrast, a nearby tent, possibly from a different hotel, seemed to host a more extended and lively Berber music performance that lasted for about an hour. Breakfast was served as a buffet but was very average and didn’t stand out. Overall, this hotel has potential, but it seems they might be struggling to keep up with the influx of tourists. With better maintenance, improved heating, and more thoughtful entertainment arrangements, it could offer a much better experience.
