Andrews Inn & Garden Cottages

This was our fifth visit to Key West our first at Andrews Inn. The location of the inn is one of the best features - down a small side street with only a few other properties but close to Duval St. We were amazed at how quiet the property was tucked into the spot. Small with only six rooms the inn has a delightful back yard with lush landscaping, a small pool and lounging area and breakfast tables. We stayed in the Venezia Room which is the smallest room at the inn. It was extremely quiet at night, the queen sized bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nicely appointed. The only change we would make next time is we would book a larger room. The breakfast was sufficient and served staring promptly at 8 AM - items offered included quiche, assorted pastries, breads, bagels, cereal and fresh fruit. If you are interested in a bigger breakfast options are nearby. The Inn also has Happy Hour by the pool daily from 2-4 and served a nice assortment of wines, beer and seltzers. The pool area was wonderful for a mid afternoon rest- we were able to relax and get to know many of the other guests. Another feature that we enjoyed and made full use of are the bicycles that are available for guest use. On several days we rode the bikes out to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park and were able to enjoy the beach and water views! The staff were extremely pleasant and committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. We also enjoyed interacting with other guests and shared tips and ideas about activities and adventures - other places we have stayed did not have this friendly atmosphere that we were looking for. This Inn exceeded our expectations and we will definitely stay here when we come back to Key West!

We stayed at Andrew’s Inn and Cottages while attending a wedding in Key West. The Inn is delightful, tucked away off of Duval and backs up to the Hemingway House. There are just a few rooms, a lovely little pool in which there’s a complementary happy hour each day at 2:00 with wines and beers. Every morning there is a delicious breakfast with a wide assortment of pastries, hot items, juices, etc. that is also included in your stay. There are also complimentary bikes. It is at the quiet end of the Duval area but close enough to walk to all the action. We stayed in the Malaga room, it was nicely furnished and had an added bonus of our own little enclosed patio. There’s also a small fridge. The only thing I’d request is they should add some darkening curtains or shades to the window in this room as it faces the pool area which is beautifully lit up all night but also makes the room a bit bright too. But this is a minor thing to such a lovely Inn. Staff was so kind too!! I highly recommend the Inn!!

Andrews Inn in Key West is nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived for a 40th bday, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere that truly sets this place apart. The location is ideal – tucked away in a lush, tropical garden yet just a short walk from all the action on Duval Street. It felt like our own private oasis in the heart of Key West! The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and full of charming touches that made us feel right at home. We loved the uniqueness of each room and some with private balconies! The pool area was a definite highlight – surrounded by greenery and incredibly peaceful, it was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Morning breakfast and evening happy hour was a big hit for our group! The team at Andrews Inn went above and beyond, offering great recommendations and always being available to help. They truly made us feel like part of the family. If you’re looking for a unique, intimate, and unforgettable experience in Key West, I can’t recommend Andrews Inn enough. It’s a hidden gem, blending the charm of a boutique hotel with the warmth of a bed-and-breakfast. We can’t wait to return!

What can you say about Andrew’s Inn. It was the absolute perfect escape for our friends to celebrate a birthday. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and felt so quintessentially Key West, the bed was super comfortable and it had everything I needed for my stay. The pool was the perfect place for us to gather during the day and after a night out. It’s proximity to Duval, The Southernmost Point, bars and restaurants made getting around super easy. Included breakfast and Happy Hour was so convenient. I can’t wait to come stay again!

My husband and I have been guests at the Andrews for 13 years now. It’s quaint,with spacious private rooms. It is stocked with amenities that go above and beyond. We have been elsewhere and are always disappointed because this is the best! We bike the island and have bikes at our disposal which is great! The staff is beyond amazing and will help with anything you want/ need. We won’t stay anywhere else!

We only stayed one night at the Andrews Inn in Key West but it was the best night of our entire trip. The rooms are quiet (just off Duval Street) and decorated beautifully. The common area and pool are a great place to relax after the day of activities. They provide one of the best continental breakfasts we have had. Happy hour in the afternoon was just an added bonus. I wish we had stayed at the Inn the whole week. We will definitely stay at the Andrews Inn the next time we visit Key West.
