Lido Corfu Sun Hotel 4 Stars All-Inclusive

Abysmal do not go there. Upon arrival at 8pm last Friday, 9th May 2025, I was looking forward to a nice meal after many hours of travel from the UK to Corfu, Greece 😁 sadly that wasn't happening the choice was Pork and Rice or nothing 😭 Dessert was a mere slice of water melon. This is not what I was expecting from a Four Star All-inclusive holiday, that I spent my hard earned savings on. Do not use the toilet's around the pool, these were absolutely filthy, with broken toilet seats and urine stained floors. As for snacks during the day you can forget that, there were NONE. All-inclusive drinks consisted of Tea, Coffee, local beer, cheap Ouzo or Brandy. For anything else have your money handy as a single non branded vodka costs 9 euros.  All these were served in small clear plastic beakers. The only thing this hotel has got going for it is the lovely staff. Kelly on reception deserves a pay raise as she had to listen to numerous complaints off the guests every day🙄

Kelly on reception deserves a pay raise as she had to listen to numerous complaints off the guests every day🙄 We went back to Benitses to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary what a mistake 😞😞😞 The answer for complaints was it's the beginning of the season??? Surely they had enough time to get it right yes? Oh take plenty of Imodiun with you as well, you'll need it 😞. The food was bland, repetitive and cold. Hence that was the reason for a microwave available in the restaurant TUI rep is unavailable to give you advice on trips and what's going on etc just incase you need to speak to someone about bus timetable.

Hotel is a really lovely peaceful hotel, myself and husband enjoyed our stay. This hotel is perfect if you want a holiday just to relax and not do much, although there is trips supplied by a company that the hotel uses ( we found this cheaper than going through our holiday company). The lady at the desk during the day was very helpful. If you have a light flight it's worth paying extra to stay longer as usually they may want you to check out early but that meant waiting around. Also be careful if your wobbly on your feet like myself as there's alot of steps and a steep hill at hotel. Didn't use the beech at hotel as lots of sea urchins but the sea at the local town was great and can get a free shuttle into the town in morning, afternoon and evening.

Was not impressed by this hotel at all. Full of trip hazards and stairs. The hotel was on a very busy road with no pavements. Had to walk along it to even get to the bus stop and beach. The hotel was out on a limb, so if you like a supermarket or shops, restaurants near you, forget this place. The nearest village is Benitses which is a 10 minute bus ride away. The hotel runs a 7 seater shuttle bus there at 13.00 and comes back at 20.00!! Corfu Town is 35 minutes on the bus. The hotel beach is about 150 yards, along the busy road and down a stoney path. We only went there the once as it was just pebbles, rocks and wooden planking. The room is mainly taken up by the bed which has sharp right angled corners on it. We had many a bruise from it. The TV has one English channel on it. BBC World news. To watch the TV you have to lie on the bed straining your neck, as you cant lean back against the headboard due to it having a ledge on it. Bathroom was very compact. Food was at most tepid but generally cold. We had to microwave it to try and warm up things like egg and bacon. Only 2 types of cake every evening. Pool was reasonable, but sun loungers mainly were in the shade. Loads of mosquitos about. Reception staff were friendly. Had to pay for bottled water and even ice cream and we went all inclusive. Will not be going back.

The hotel overall was good. Very clean and Maria the housekeeper was so lovely. But. The hotel was set back from a busy road. Chilling out by the pool was not good. The road was the main route and was very busy and noisy throughout the day and evening. Felt I was living by the M25. The food was definitely not 4 stars. And the drinks was so bad, plus you had to buy tonic for your gin. Furthermore water. Definitely not all inclusive. When it came to snacks, it was the left overs from the food and was disgusting. Something that concern me, there was a major accident while I was there. And had to use all my experience to save a person life from a head injury. I asked the the owner to get the first aid bag. He told me we don't have one wow. Lucky the ambulance crew eventually arrived. And I was told he's safe and healthy. There are many concerns about this hotel. And I have personally sent a e email to tui and the Greek government to audit the hotel. Be very careful.

The location was beautiful, hotel site clean and well maintained. The beach decked areas was beautiful.The staff were friendly and helpful. However it was astonishing that the All inclusive did not include tonic water. I do not know anyone who drinks straight gin. We could get a gin on the All inclusive but not tonic. This is ridiculous. I have stayed all inclusive on Greek Islands over 20 years and have never been anywhere where a tonic water was not in the All inclusive. They were making guests pay 3 Euros for a small bottle of tonic. People were going to the local mini market to buy big bottles of tonic water, only to be told by bar staff,the bottles must not be visible. This is absolutely ridiculous.
