Atmaland Resort

Don’t be fooled by the ancient photos take when this place was new and well maintained. It’s not what you will find when you arrive. Run down, unkept, pretty low brow and over priced. Plenty of these kind of places around that would suit budget traveler or backpackers but not what it’s advertised

This place is an Absolute Gem. It's set in a beautiful area, surrounded by colourful gardens with a great view looking down to the coast. The swimming pool is the star attraction, it's beautifully positioned just below the main dining, bar and lounge area....... and it's a good enough size for a decent swim. There are only 8-10 bungalows and a large family apartment, so it's a peaceful and chilled environment. However you're only a 5 minute walk down to the Crab Market, where there are so many restaurants to choose from. There's plenty of tub-tuks available, directly from the resort or around the corner to whisk you off to Kep Beach (only a 10 minute away) or to the ferry for the boats across to Rabbit Island. And right behind the resort is the entrance to the Kep National Park, where there's a lovely walk way around the Kep National Park..... which has great views across the bay and across the nearby valleys. If you're looking for a place to chill out and relax and enjoy great food (either at the hotel's restaurant or in the nearby Crab Market) this is the place fr you. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't want to leave!!

Expected more. Breakfast poor. Towels old and used, however clean. Our shoes were taken away by the dogs in the night. We would have appreciated a pre-information that we better don't keep our shoes outside.
