The place itself is in a good location, but far from crab market but tuk tuks are readily available. When we first arrived we accidentally booked a room with no air conditioning, when we requested to change room they were very accommodating, we only paid a small cost to move to a better room. The receptionist was absolutely lovely. The rooms themselves are not terrible but not excellent, standard rooms for the price you pay (however there was no refrigerator, no toilet paper and no tv). There is a small restaurant/bar downstairs on the terrace and the food was excellent, fresh, flavourful and made with love, a variety of Khmer, western and especially French cuisine as the place is owned by a French women. Speaking of, we ate here for dinner on a Saturday night and the place was overrun with loud French people, that seemed to be friends or family of the owner, and loud music, so a bit hard to get to sleep(so if that’s not your cup of tea I would avoid) even though the food was excellent. Although the staff are lovely and friendly, the service was quite slow, we had to get up and go get menus and order drinks from the bar twice!. Overall, a great place for budget friendly travellers and easy going people. The beach was not really worth it, as it was a little dirty with murky water and you have to get transport to the crab market which was slightly underwhelming but that’s probably because we were there in low season.
