A carefully tended Druid stone circle, predating Stonehenge by 2000 years, is around the corner and up toward the end of Market Street, a pleasant ten minute walk rewarded with quiet moments contemplating the ancient stonework and the hardy folk who built it. Stoneybrough boasts solid Burmese teak woodwork, wall to wall hotel grade wool carpeting throughout, beveled glass French doors and other design and decorating touches you'll find nowhere else. A Bluetooth-enabled stereo radio/CD player with a variety of mostly Irish music—to put you in the mood— is on the bar next to the kitchen.
