The room was clean but there was a pool of water on the bathroom floor. We dried it up and put it down to a cleaner forgetting to dry mop. Next morning we found another puddle and moved the bin to see a leak and mould. Another issue was the bar and restaurant were closed at night and we weren't warned in advance. In fact I was sent an email the day before advertising their meals.I feel that whilst the hotel is in a good location, its standards are dropping.

Just stayed for one night whilst in town for a gig at the fabulous Brewery Arts Centre. Staff were all so lovely and went above above and beyond at every request (just the one ice cube in my water flask please). The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast hit the spot and the one little niggle we had was addressed promptly and without question. Very central to town. Will definitely be back. Thank you all.

We had a fantastic stay at Premier Inn Kendal! The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful and patient with all our questions—it really made a difference as this was our first trip to the Lake District. We ordered takeaway one night, and they kindly helped us with plates and cutlery, which was much appreciated. The hotel is in a convenient location—just a 10-minute walk from Kendal train station and about 5 minutes from the bus station. From there, you can catch regular buses and reach Bowness in 30–40 minutes. It’s a great option if you can’t find accommodation within the main Lake District towns and are okay with a bit of travel by bus. Also, parking is available for £8 per day if you’re driving in. TVs had Screen mirroring which was absolute helpful with kids can watch what they want. Overall, a comfortable and well-located base for exploring the area!

A very nice welcome from the staff, I believe they are currently handicapped by lack of investment in this hotel. A lift that’s controls are stuck by sellotape, a bar with a bucket under the ceiling, no drinks on draught, limited parking that’s chargeable. The room is of a standard expected, but everything else is well off. Apparently due a refurb, bless the staff

Worst premier hotel I have ever stayed in, Restaurant and bar didn't open until 6.00pm and closed at 9.30pm with the staff not been trained, the Redhead girl in charge was rude and abrupt to a lot of customers, the main entrance door from outside was locked to discourage anyone coming in and a lot of the areas where cordoned off to stop access, it was as if as soon as we get out she can put her feet up, WILL NOT STAY HEAR AGAIN
