Ourania Apartments Hotel

What a delightful place. From the minute we arrived we were treated as friends rather than guests We had booked 2 x one bedroom apartments. Ours was up a flight of stairs with a lovely terrace capturing the sun all day. This was bigger than a one bedroom and could sleep several people in the lounge. We purchased the air conditioning unit in the bedroom only, didn't spend enough time in the lounge to need it Small kitchen area with kettle, toaster and two ring hob. Hot water a plenty never struggled with showers or washing cups Patio set on the terrace and a washing line for drying towels and swimwear Son was on a downstairs apartment less than a minutes walk away. His was definitely a one bedroom but perfectly adequate The pool area was a nice size and cleaned daily. Sunbeds and chairs around the pool and grassy shaded areas The bar and staff was great!! Good food cooked to order and very good prices Several supermarkets and restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Incline uphill back to the apartments. The cleaners worked tirelessly around the site and the rooms always cleaned to high standard

Amazing. We loved the Ourania - couldn't fault a thing. We had one of the older-style apartments on an upper floor - it was simply furnished but the bed was comfortable, the shower powerful, it was quiet at night and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We thought breakfasts were the best we had had anywhere in Greece, with a choice of proper cooked breakfast, continental, lovely thick Greek yogurt and honey. The sunbathing area was an oasis of peace, under the shade of the olive trees and yet only a short walk from bars and restaurants. We found all the staff who looked after us so well so warm and friendly. We loved Gouves - the walks along the sea front and the sea was so warm and great for swimming. We will be back! Thank you everyone for such a relaxing holiday.

Lovely welcoming and friendly staff make this hotel feel like home from home. Nothing is too much trouble, naming some but apologies if I missed anyone! Cally, Thomas, Stella, Lia, Alex, Stavros and Venetta all work hard to make your stay perfect. Good size rooms, cleaned daily by the lovely cleaners, breakfast you order and it is brought to your table with lots of choice. Pool a good size always enough beds around the pool area. Gouves itself is fairly spread out but walkable, lots of tavernas and bars serving great food and drinks, one of the best is Mylos taverna for food and great cocktails in KonDimAr 👍. The beaches along the coastal area are beautiful and mostly sandy, and not crowded in September. Ourania apartments and Gouves/Kato Gouves I would recommend and return to, 30 mins from airport is a bonus. Thanks to our awesome TUI rep Lois, at the hotel daily to help with anything.
