Really Nice place I spent there time with my gests they was very happy because the staff was very good the hotel area was perfect the rooms was perfect. The menager Zulfa do everything my gests and me feel there comfortably🌹😘 I can recommend this hotel.

Golden Clove Beach Resort was recently taken over by F-Zeen Boutique Hotel Zanzibar, and the space seems to be getting a makeover with still a traditional rustic look :) It was just what we wanted for a weekend getaway - a quiet, peaceful, clean space, and simply perfect to relax by the seaside with just a few steps from the room's entryway to the beach! All the staff and management personnel are super polite, respectful and friendly, and provided excellent customer service making our stay all the more comfortable!

Good location, clean bungalows, great ocean views, beautiful garden, delicious and varied food and friendly people… Special thanks to Tobias, Barakah and Jaklin! A wonderful vacation in a very nice place! I recommend!

Sadly the hotel whilst set right on the beach is quite run down. The staff do their best but it doesn’t make up for the issues in the rooms such as run down bathroom, build up of black mildew, dirty tile grout, cracked tiles, thread bare and frayed bath towels, ripped and holey mosquito nets, dirty fridge seals, dirty mattress. Dead ants came out of the boiling water urn in the dining room at breakfast into my tea cup while live ants were crawling on the drink serving table also at breakfast. Some of the dining furniture is in much need of being replaced and table cloths need changing each day as we had the same food stain on our cloth for 3 days right up to when we left. It has the foundations of a great hotel due to its beach front location but needs completely renovating and serious money spending on it. Such a shame.

The people were really nice and friendly. Always greats us with a smile and their answer are always Hakuna matta and pole pole :). Zanzibar People, in general, are really nice a friendly people. In Mermaids cove we enjoyed the peach, bar and restaurant.

Mistake, at least for me. Good, large pool clean, airy area, garden. -no music harassment. -friendly people. -big room on the beach. Bad -room was like a fifty-year-old room in India with its decor and furniture, awful. air conditioning could not be repaired but it was windy for a year so the airway from the sea. -In the hot season you are fd. -the food was awful, the worst thing I've ever had in Zansibar over my years. customers asked what the fish are did not dare to eat, neither did I. -I had chicken risotto buried with chicken bones left over from soups, I got one tablespoon of meat from five bone marrow. -I don't eat much, so no worries, the rice tasted good. --as one of the staff members said, they taste very confusing. -I choose a familiar answer on the island, we have three chefs and the head chef is now free, on the island of food quality when choosing a standard answer. -the dining space was a glass fireplace somehow like a terrarium solution, understandable in windy times but against the minds. A good place for those who need privacy for some reason, rainbow hugging or like my neighbor's green medicine very suitable for burning. Heh I bought a bottle of liquor from a beach merchant and I got alcohol poisoning, the product was Indian whiskey, completely for my own reason, by taxi to the liquor store so know what you are getting. A disposable item, hardly anyone will come again unless there is some good reason of their own. Rarely am I so harsh / disappointed / hard, now I am.
