I had an amazing experience staying at Bag Packers Lodge. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I felt at home. The check-in process was smooth, and my room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated with all the amenities I needed

The location and hotel staff are good. Need to change the towels and bed sheets.

場所は文句なしの立地。レストラン、バー、カフェなど食べ物探しには困りません。 ただ今回はしばらく前に予約したにも関わらず、用紙を見せチェックインをお願いすると満室回答。別のホテルに連れて行かれそこでなんとか泊まれましたが、毎日部屋を変えなくては行けないような事をスタッフに言われ、非常に困りましたが、そこのオーナーさんが同じ部屋にしてくれました。朝食付きだったので楽しみにしていたのに、もちろんそんなのなし笑。説明もなし。でもこれが海外基準？そんなもんだろうと、気持ちを切り替え楽しい旅となりました。現地人は本当に優しくて、友達もできSNSを交換しました。泊めてくれたホテルにはまた行きたいと思います。 予約したホテルには泊まれなかったので、写真はありません。

직원들이 친절하고 타멜 거리에 있어서 위치는 좋은데 사람들이 많이 다녀 밤에도 시끄러워서 예민하신 분들은 힘들 수도 있습니다

こちらのサイトでは朝食付きだと書かれていたのですが実際はそうではありませんでした。タメル地区の繁華街にあるので買い物や食事に出かけるのにはとても便利です。またチトワンやポカラへ行く長距離バス乗り場までは歩いて10分足らずでなので、その予定のある方にお勧めです。ただ、部屋に寄るとは思うのですが夜の間もとても賑やかで喧騒の中にあります。静けさを好む方には辛いかも知れません。部屋は清潔でスタッフはとてもフレンドリーです。

頼んでいた部屋よりもいい部屋を与えてくれて感謝します。後は、悪い点は部屋が暗いのとWi-Fiが遅かった

The hotel is in Thamel, rooms are large and cozy, the beds are comfortable and everything is well-kept and clean. There is a roof terrace where breakfast is served and hot food, especially very tasty momos. The owner Krishna and his staff are very courteous and helpful. Krishna is always ready to help his guests organize activities, flights and transport. A great hotel in the low price segment that leaves nothing to be desired.

Spent several nights here with our Medical Team. Krishna and his wife were gracious hosts. Accommodations were great, staff were very accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good hotel with reasonable prices in an excellent location (close to restaurants and shopping).

Great place to stay in the heart of Thamel. Good food in the restaurant on the rooftop. All the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean and fresh and family-friendly. Krishna will sort any issues, and will even arrange transport from the airport.

I stayed in Bag Packer's Lodge 3 times when I travelled to Kathmandu many years ago. I really liked the location of it, so convenient. The room was clean, and the price was very affordable. And the hostel manager Krish was very friendly and helpful.

I travel extremely often, and I am fortunate enough to stay at numerous very high end locations. As a result, I’ve become a tough grader. For my trip to Kathmandu, however, I needed a much more modest location, and Bag Packers came highly recommended by trusted globetrotting friends. I must say that Bag Packers exceded my expectations in every way … First, they are very centrally located in a walkable, engaging area with so many great options for food and shopping. But much more importantly, this accommodation is super clean and staffed with hard working, warm, very helpful staff. The rooms, common areas, linens, and roof top cafe are uniformly clean, and the cafe breakfast, especially the spinach omelette, is SO good. I was so happy to have efficient heat and hot water every day, while the front desk staff, including the manager/owner, would unfailingly go out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. I think you get value at Bag Packers FAR beyond what you pay, and I would recommend it without reservation.

Nice, clean, Easily approachable & decent place in the heart of the Thamel market, Kathmandu. Mr. Krishna Dawadi, the owner of this lodge is a very kind & helpful person. I was impressed with his hospitality. Since the place is located in the market area, there is a lot of noise from the street. keeping it aside. If I travel to Kathmandu again, I would like to stay at Backpackers Lodge again!

Bag packer Hostel is the best place to stay. Clean rooms plenty of hot water and the roof top resterant is great good food friendly and helpful staff. I am returning next Feb. And will be staying there again. I would highly recamend the Bag packer Hostel. Krishna and his wife made sure my trip was perfect.

I spent here several nights and it was perfect. The rooms are clean and spacious. The ones that arent on the main street are calmer but I did not mind at all. The staff is very nice and help you in any way possible. I had to post a postcard, but the office was closed so they kindly did it for me ! Breakfast is good and the rooftop is very pleasant. And the location is perfect ! You are in the center and close to cool restaurants cafés ,… i would definitely recommend !! Great value for money !
