Koukounaria Hotel & Suites

Nice location close to the bach, approx 400m. We had “chic” room. Mini fridge in it (loud). Planty of spaces to hang your clothes but very limited cupboard. Air con worked but placed bad, since it went directly to the bed. And without room-key does not work, so expect hot rooms. At night (not hotel’s fault of course) so loud animals around, difficult for light sleepers. Walls are paper-thin, we had loud neighbours :( Parking provided. Staff is kind, speaks english. Pool is clean. Breakfast nice, you can eat next to the pool.

This was a lovely comfortable hotel, rooms ate basic, the pool was great. Good size; loads of beds. The breakfast was basic but …the lunch poolside restaurant has the best tasting food for lunch and great chef and great value for money. Evening food in other restaurant was very poor. Great staff all round - bar staff especially. Very happy, helpful and pleasant. Town and beach only 5mins walk - perfect little place….also Alykanas 20mins walk away

This hotel was perfect for our family vacation. Everybody was so accommodating with our 1 year old and make us feel comfortable. The room was perfect, the views are incredible, and you’re within walking distance of the beach and all sorts of restaurant's.. specifically Heat Wave (our favorite place). Breakfast was spectacular and the receptionist Ruth, always had a smile on her face and answered all our questions. Highly recommend staying here! We will be back!

A truly peaceful and relaxing hotel. It's our second time here, and we totally recommend it. The staff are outstanding—always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with a warm smile. The pool area is perfect for a relaxing day, whether you’re trying to beat the heat or simply want to enjoy your holiday book in a quiet atmosphere. Rooms are clean and well-maintained, with air conditioning and fresh towels provided daily. It’s a wonderful place for couples, but also ideal for families with children, as there are dedicated kids’ pools and shaded playgrounds. The beach is just a short 5-minute walk away, and along the way you’ll find convenient shops where you can pick up water, fruit, and other essentials. Near to the beach, around 5 minutes walk and on the road you can find shops where you can buy water, fruits etc. Many restaurants nearby, only 5 minutes walk (or you can eat at the hotel restaurant)

Our second visit to this Hotel as we travel with Jet2 on a package holiday and it is one of the more central hotels to Alykes. We had a stylish room this year and room 109 was a spacious corner room with a lovely balcony with a sea view. Limited storage as you have a hanging rack and cupboard underneath but there are not any drawers. Excellent breakfast selection and the staff clearing tables are brilliant and extremely polite and do their very best to make sure everything is perfect for you,in particular the young man from Kenya (sorry we didn't get his name). The loud advertisements on the radio station playing are very intrusive and spoil the relaxed atmosphere! The reception staff were also very attentive and helpful. We were on the 2nd floor and on several occasions the lift did not operate on this floor. This is a great hotel but not 4* and some areas show signs of wear and tear and in need of repair. We would not return to this hotel as the drop off and pick up is at the end of a short lane on the main road. The collection time window is 35 minutes (half an hour plus 5 minutes prior to the allocated time) We waited the full 35 minutes in the heat of 35 degrees without shade which was very uncomfortable.

We stayed at this hotel as we were attending a wedding in the area. Very impressed, room was fine we had the “chic” room plenty of room to hang your clothes but no drawers a cupboard is below the hanging space. Bathroom has shower all shower gel and shampoo provided. Still have to put toilet paper in a bin ( was surprised thought this may have changed).cleaned every day Air con worked well thank goodness as it was 34 degrees every day, kettle and couple of tea bags but they don’t replace them during your stay . There is a fridge. Breakfast was lovely and it was great to eat on the terrace over looking the pool.Hot and cold food available and lots of sweet cakes. If you like normal English tea take your own they don’t provide any only fruit/herbal. The pool area is amazing, no problem with sunbeds and very quiet we assumed people went to the beach instead. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. You have to pay for pool towels and don’t forget the tourist tax 70 euros for a week in cash.WFI/air conditioning was included We liked the hotel and if we did return to Zante would certainly stay again. The resort is very small just a couple of streets however the restaurants we ate in were very good as were the bars where we met up with our friends. No nightclubs/discos great place for couples who want a relaxing holiday.
