The room was very dirty. There was a fresh coffee stain on the wall, the carpet had not been vacuumed, and the bedding appeared to have been used. Although there were three of us, we only received amenities for two. On the first day, they provided espresso capsules, but on the second day, they claimed they had none. The bathroom smelled awful, like eggs, likely because the floor was mopped with dirty mops. There was hair on the basin, and the bathtub was slippery. On the third night, we requested fresh linen, which they provided, but the duvet cover was damaged and should be discarded. The corridors were full of dust and garbage, with dirty skirting boards. The AC was off, making it hard to breathe, and the lobby toilets and entrance were dirty. This place is far from being a five-star hotel. My stay was horrible, with broken electric switches in the room, a dusty balcony, a balcony door that needed fixing, and stained, hole-ridden curtains. The front office staff need training on how to interact with guests and solve problems; they seem to lack basic hospitality knowledge. Housekeeping needs training and training the staff need supervision and one to inspect the rooms . Restaurant food was delicious and very tasty, Halil was working very hard jumping from here to there and always make sure if we are satisfied with food. Breakfast very good. But you Gus lack in cleaning and clear the tables inside and outside. No duty manager available, no one asked how was our stay even. Novotel is one of my favorite hotel brand.
