Kashgar Returning Friends International Youth Hostel（Ella's Home）

Ella is a conscientious and gracious host who has cultivated a warm and fun environment. I had a great experience sleeping in the comfortable dorm which was a very fair price by China standards as well. Facilities are new and clean. I slept well on a comfy bed in a relatively quiet neighborhood that’s still very close to the ancient city. Also you can take a taxi directly to her Homestay whereas in the ancient city you have to carry your bags at least a few hundred meters from taxi drop off. Ella was patient and answered all of my touristic questions while caring for the other guests too. Also she often prepares a potluck meal for a fair price. I met many interesting travellers here too so if you are looking for a good base to rest that meets your social and touristic needs as well Ella’s home is the place for you. Probably my favorite hostel in my month in China. Shame I have to leave. The private rooms look quite cozy as well

We had great time in Kashgar. The location is convenient. The host also helped arrange our 2 day tour to Tashkurgen which was amazing. Thanks a lot Ella.

Ella's Home is a great place to stay! It is cozy and clean. The receptionist has a broad knowledge of the city and its sourroundings, so she never runs out of suggenstions where to go, and she even offers assistance with booking tickets. She is always down for a nice chat. Furthermore there is a communal kitchen and a guitar, and not only a washing mashine but also lots of places to hang laundry.

Loved this hostel. It’s much more international than other hotels in Kashgar it’s a good place to meet other foreign travelers. It has a nice courtyard area for socializing. The owner is friendly and friendly and speaks some English.

I would highly recommend this hostel, I had a great time here. Its in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and not far away from the centre of Kashgar. The owner is really helpful and friendly and also has good English which helps alot. Would definitely recommend here.
