Take the pickup bus and there are great choice of food in food plaza . Very serene and beautiful place

Nice location to have a ski experience. The buffet dinner was nice as well.

The staff of hotel is great. They are kind and hospitable to help customers. We also enjoyed the hot spring a lot. We would like to visit here again in the near future.

There is shuttle bus for station and skiing resort. And the outlet is right next to hotel so you don’t even have to wait for the 30 min shuttle bus.

We stayed in the cottage D, very old facilities, it’s a nice place but they should consider change their all appliances in the room, cos too old already. It’s very inconvenient that they don’t have a shuttle from cottage to lobby, we need to call them everytime we go out instead. The ski place was all man made snow, we were disappointed. We thought want to let the kids experience snow..

Back to this hotel for 2nd time. Close to shopping outlets. After a day of travelling and walking, good to be back for an onsen.

A wonderful place for skiing. However choices for restaurant are not much in the hotel area, need to find place to eat at night at the outlet.

Traveling with 2 teenagers. This is not a suitable place for them. Check in at 3pm. You can check your luggage early. But, during this waiting time, you can only go for outlet shopping. Sadly, not for teenagers ! Staff are fine but quite fixed. For example, we arrived at 1030 and one teenager asked for using gym. They said no. It's his birthday, none is happy about this. At the early evening, I found you need to pay 2000 yean for each use of gym and hot spring. I feel this is silly. You are charging us anyway why not let us use and pay? Cottage: is cute and cozy but extremely oldx3. I think you can describe a vantage cottage. Clean but a bit of natural symphony from outside. Buffet dinner: selection if food was ok. Western, Chinese and Japanese. But certainly the entire area are a bit of pricy. 9000 yean plus 18% charges. If you dont have a choice , this is acceptable. Or you can choose to eat early at the outlet area. Hot spring: outdoor and indoor. Very nice setting but you pay 2000 per use. Overall, this area is pretty pricy. But if you are here to chill this should be nice but with teenagers I would say they rather live in Tokyo like a cheap hotel not this. They don't appreciate this at all. I still appreciate the service and the experience.

We stayed in a room accommodating 3 people. The sofa bed is big in principle big enough for my daughter but she found it easily falling down probably because the base is a sofa which is apparently smaller than the mattress! The hotel room is generally clean. We had a shabushabu and teriyaki dinner at the hotel which was relatively expensive but the quality is excellent and we found it worth a try! More importantly, the hotel is conveniently located near the outlet where we had a happy shopping spree😊

Convenient location as near the shopping plaza with many outlet shops and restaurants. However there was little snow at the ski area in December. Also the internal shuttle buses can get pretty packed during peak hours. Onsen was nice but quite crowded in the evening.

Nice hotel. Karuizawa Outlet is in a walking distance. But had to take the bus to ski area. The west ski area did not open at the time we stayed. The front staff was not that freindly. No power plug adapter for borrowing. When comparing to the price, it not worth it. The good thing is the location, that’s it. Hotel breakfast was awesome, the staffs were very nice, much nicer than front staff.
