Traveling with 2 teenage boys and the bunk beds room was fun for them. Hotel is at a convenient location where you can easily find restaurants and small shops on the old street. Room was spacious and clean. Getting from Karuizawa station to hotel is a short taxi trip away.  Highly recommend for family trip.

Very good stay, all amenities are very complete, they even provided sleeping clothes and toner and face cream.

Our one-night stay at Hotel Karuizawa Cross was absolutely wonderful! The Superior Bunk Room was perfect for our group of six—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to ensure everyone had a comfortable and cozy space to rest. The bunk beds were sturdy and well-maintained, and the room had a warm, inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. While the breakfast options were simple and limited, the quality and taste more than made up for it. The homely, delicious meal was a great way to start our day, and it felt like we were enjoying a homemade breakfast prepared with care. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming vibe of the hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Hotel Karuizawa Cross to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to visit again!

Location is just along the okd ginza street, makes shopping really convenient! Room is good, kids love the bunk beds and room size is comfortable for families!

I Like the cleanliness of the hotel. Room is spacious. The front desk staff could communicate in English. Good if you drive there. Else, it’s a distance from the train station. St Paul church is just opposite of the hotel. There’s also a Japanese shin nearby. There are good bakery shops nearby for breakfast. We were there on 2 weekdays and there’s not many people and not many shops open. The restaurant next to it serves good pasta and pizza. We had our 2 dinners settled there. Karuizawa is a beautiful place. You may have a morning jog nearby and it’s so serene running around.

An excellent hotel with very nice and professional staff. We had a really pleasant stay in this hotel. Hotel is luxury. Hotel room is very cozy and comfortable. Staff are cheerful and helpful. We love this hotel, and definitely will choose the hotel again next time.

Being located on top of a shopping arcade in the main street, the location is fantastic! Lots of good restaurants and cafe nearby. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Free carpark available too!

Excellent service. All staff were polite and English speaking which was very helpful.. Boxed breakfast on the terrace was delicious surrounded by lots of natural beauty. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel was on the 2nd floor of a shopping center which is located off the main strip which had many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay and would come back if ever in the area.
