Hotel Embassy

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Embassy, and loved the location right on the river. Beautiful views from the lovely balcony in our rooms, comfortable beds, and all at a good price-point. The room was very spacious too! Reception was nice and friendly, and spoke English, and the free parking was fantastic! My one disappointment was that there was no information in the rooms about Karlovy Vary, and the front desk did not have any maps to give out. With the town boasting 15 mineral springs and numerous colonnades, not to mention thermal spas, and the international film festival, and lots of history, a little info in the room would have been helpful and/or one of those tear-off maps of the city. Having read about some of this before we travelled, I was aware, but I feel the hotel could offer more info in that regard. We ate at the restaurant too and it was delicious; however, the waitress was quite inexperienced and not very knowledgeable about the menu. She also brought all of the food at once, did not check on us, and did not ask if we wanted to dessert and when we inquired she advised that the kitchen had closed. That being said, I would not hesitate to stay and eat at the Hotel Embassy again

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in late September, ‘22. It is just the kind of place we like – lots of character and charm, small yet large enough to provide privacy, a number of upscale features without being exclusively expensive. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The location is excellent, near the Grand Hotel Pupp, at the beginning of the river promenade, not far from the Opera House. There are many shops and restaurants nearby along the promenade on both sides of the river. The hotel has a number of reserved parking spaces along the promenade, and more in a lot nearby. The lobby/bar area is cozy and there is an excellent restaurant that connects with the lobby (we ate there one night and recommend it highly). The front desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room (201) was very large, with windows facing the river and promenade. It was tastefully decorated with period-style furniture. There was a comfortable 4-poster canopy king bed, two night stands minibar, desk, two arm chairs and a small table, a sofa, and a large armoire with safe in the entry way. The large marble-tiled bathroom was very attractive, with a separate tub & shower, and a nice amount of counter and shelf space. The room had radiator heat which was effective and responsive. There wasn’t a.c. but this would likely be unnecessary most of the time. Wife was strong and fast. Breakfast was served in a very pleasant central atrium area and was excellent. Overall, we recommend the Embassy very highly if you like a smaller hotel with character, comfort, and good service. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Dear All, I do strongly reccomend visiting the Embassy Hotel at Karlove Vary, both for longer stay as also for getting the relax at hotel restaurant. Awesome dining, fabolous wine assortment, geniue service bined together by pair of owners, whom are very interested peopole. In nutshell, they look after every detail being the same interested in relax mode hang out with the guests. Charming atmosfere and freindly apporach are quintesence of their vibes, I will come back to this place for sure. Pawel from Warsaw

Das Haus liegt im historischen Zentrum an der Tepla. Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel. Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich. Auch wenn man 30 Minuten vor Frühstücksende kommt ist noch alles vorhanden. Auf Wunsch gibt es Espresso oder Cappuchino bzw. Rühr- oder Spiegelei, alles im Preis inbegriffen. Im Haus gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Wir reisten mit unserem PKW an und bekamen kostenlos einen reservierten Parkplatz vor dem Hoteleingang. Der Check in war schnell und freundlich. Unser Zimmer im 5.OG war geräumig und gemütlich. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Es gibt eine Minibar und einen Safe. Das Bad verfügt über eine Dusche und eine Badewanne. Der Blick aus dem Fenster ist wunderschön ( Promenade und Fluss). Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Beim Check out erhielten wir ein Päckchen Karlsbader Oblaten als Geschenk. Das war ein netter Abschluss eines perfekten Aufenthaltes

Freundliches Hotel in Familienhand. Sonderwünsche werden meistens auch erfüllt. Topsauber und angenehme Atmosphäre. Der Frühstücksraum mit Kamin strahlt eine besondere Stimmung aus. Das Restaurant hat hervorragende Gerichte immer frisch zubereitet. Hausgemachte Ravioli sind ein Gourmettraum. Die Weinauswahl lässt kaum einen Wunsch offen. Einfach selbst erfahren und rundum wohlfühlen.
