We mainly went for wildlife. The staff treated us wonderfully. The food quality location was excellent. We did a night safari for small cats. Night safari was excellent. Mammals Chinkaras Blue bull Jackal about 25 to 30 Bengal fox 1 Wolves 4 Jungle cat 1 Hynae 2 sightings Hare and wild boar

Absolutely beautiful location. Simply stunning. Accommodation was fabulous. Staff were so welcoming. Hospitality was excellent, Food was delicious. We can’t fault it. We took advantage of the evening boat tour on the lake and the village walking tour. Both included in the price. Such an amazing experience.

On arriving at Ramathra Fort we had to give way to a pair of jackals on the track leading to the hotel. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room, which had a commanding view over the surrounding farmland and countryside. We had an excellent curry dinner and the following morning enjoyed a rowing boat trip over the tranquil Kalisil Lake. After a relaxing day at the fort, we took an evening game drive over the adjoining Daang Valley and saw several species of game. We were well looked after throughout our stay in this magnificent old fort and would highly recommend a visit to anyone interested in experiencing a taste of historic and rural India.

Spent 3 amazing nights at Ramathra Fort Beautiful setting for a hotel that offers excellent comfort, food and service. We went specifically to photograph Hyena and Woolf and Udit and the team did not disappoint. This is a gem in Rajasthan that is a must visit for wildlife enthusiasts or people just looking for a beautiful location and property to spend a relaxed holiday at. We will definitely return

A unique place to stay in the middle of Rajasthan. The hotel had excellent service, dinner, and a super friendly staff. We did the village walk, the highlight of our India trip. We also did boating on the huge reservoir. We stayed in the house because the tent options may have been a little cold for December. All in all - first class place to stay.

To have some quiet time away from the bustling cities, Ramathra fort offered the perfect place. With an amazing view around for miles, tents or rooms to sleep in which are comfortable and clean, and good food included in the price it was a welcome break.

We are so pleased that we chose Ramathra Fort for a short break between the hustle and bustle of Dehli and Jaipur. A peaceful and welcoming family run small hotel, it is the perfect place to relax and recharge batteries. Laid back, yet with friendly and charming service; delicious, wholesome food; comfortable and spacious rooms, and views that simply take your breath away. We especially enjoyed, and were humbled, by the warmth and generosity of the villagers who offered a taster of their freshly prepared food during our village walk, and during our night drive, we were heartened to learn about the wildlife initiatives being undertaken by one of the family's sons.

The experience was gud. Staff took special care of us. After lot deliberation I selected this property to celebrate my Ruby Jubilee wedding anniversary. And I enjoyed every moment of it. The 350 years old Fort has been maintained very well without spoiling it's ancient look. Preparing awasome food is one aspect and serving with love is another. Could see both of these in abundance. Boat ride on a full moon night was too romantic. Only handicap was that it was too hot so missed out in some activities of itinerary. The way parapet wall has been developed it's terrific. Will like to visit again in gud weather.

This is a unique and beautiful hilltop location, actually staying in a fort many hundreds of years old but reinvigorated by descendants to provide modern and comfortable amenity. The rooms are spacious and designed appropriate to their location. The food was excellent and plentiful - so tasty from their own organic garden. The staff were genuine - helpful, kind, polite and hard-working. The many sitting locations were comfortable and peaceful with lovely outlooks. While we didn't stay in the tents, they were shown to us and are magnificent. I would definitely stay again.
