Kisima Ngeda Camp

We stayed here for one night on the recommendation of Gosheni Safari to visit the Datoga and Hadzabe tribes. The lodge was such a surprise little oasis at the end of a long drive through the countryside with a fantastic view right on the edge of Lake Eyasi. We enjoyed the warmest hospitality and the lodge was just the perfect mix of comfort and amenities with all the charm of being right in the midst of nature! Highly recommend!

Finding the camp was confusing g as the kids in the town play with the directional signs. Greeted by several wonderful people. The food was great. The views of the lake are awesome. The rooms were basic but we'll supplied. The beds were very comfortable. The walk to your lodge is safe but dark, take your flashlight.

Loved this camp by the lake. Did the fly camping experience here too which included hunting with the Hazdabe tribe which was excellent. A nice change between safari drives. Also nice to have a pool for a dip on a hot afternoon. Excellent service and fabulous food.

Gorgeous, almost unreal, setting and experience. The tents were so luxurious, spacious, clean and comfortable. Sleeping to the sounds of palm trees blowing in the wind was so serene. They served AMAZING food, and plenty of it, for all meals. We had a super early start one morning and they brought coffee and breakfast bites to our room. The pool is wonderful, and the gin & tonic served poolside made it even better. The staff took us on a hike for an amazing sundowner view complete with snacks and drinks that they brought up followed by a lakefront bonfire. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

I went to the lovely Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp to do some research and work with the Hadzabe tribe and was fortunate enough to be connected with this fantastic lodge. The tents were beyond comfortable, with amazing views and easy access. The food was stellar and the services was top notch. My co-worker and I felt so taken care of and provided for that it made all aspects of what we were trying to accomplish easy and feasible. We spent a good amount of time at their Fly Camp location as well, which was out in a very remote area. The tents there were comfortable and the food they provided, even out in this location, was 5 star. We became friends with our guides and chef and felt like we were immediately ingratiated into their community like family. They provided unparalleled access to the Hadzabe tribe and we had an experience that will stay with us for a lifetime. I went there for work and ended up making relationships and participating in a lifestyle that gave me great perspective on life in general to take home with me. I hope I have the opportunity to return someday with my family as it's definitely something that everyone should experience and enjoy. Thank you to the entire Kisima Ngeda team!

We love the tent which is right next to Lake Eyasi, and the attentive service. We particularly enjoyed the evening walk with the hotel guide to the lake shore and the on top of the rock hill. The views were amazing and we saw flocks of migratory birds. The service we received from the restaurant was awesome too. The staff was always reaching out to check whether we need anything. The viewing tower in the property was well appointed, allowing us to take really nice photos while enjoying the view.
