Words cannot describe how rejuvenated I feel after my stay at Niraamaya Kannur. The staff hospitality, the ambience and amenities were all a full-on 10/10. The serene nature walks especially the early morning ones, amazing Continental/Chinese/Traditional Food varieties, and to top that all off, a wonderful evening at their swimming pool, only added to the experience. Most importantly, Body and Mind Healing Ayurvedic Treatment handed down by its founders of Ancient India, are being practiced here with utmost dedication and completeness. Can't forget to mention our stay at the Villa which was just sensational . Having stayed in other niramaya properties, i had similar expectations from vaidekam. Location is a secluded hill top, ideal for a no noise night. The property has two entry points. The one google suggests is a twisted one through a 'jungly' area which makes you wonder whether you are lost in the middle of nowhere. Dont take this one especially if you are coming in the night. You are greeted by friendly and courteous staff. Check in process was seamless. Elderly might a vehicle to move around between room and restaurant / spa etc, because the area of this property is quite vast. The rooms are really spacious, clean, airy, and understated with all necessary creature comforts and paraphernalia that you expect in this price point. The view for almost all rooms should be similar i think : all overlook the valley of the small hillock where this property is located. I was unhappy about three things here. First was the very minimal landscaping and gardening. Probably they wanted to maintain that rustic vibe, or may be the works are underway. But when you pay a fortune for one night, you would be expect some visually appealing landscape. Second, there were mosquitoes in our room (not in our other family member rooms) and and couldn't sleep well. And third, even though the dinner items were fairly priced, the taste was ok and the tea and snacks were exorbitantly priced for the quality offered. But no qualms there because it doesn't really spoil your experience. Breakfast spread was good and tasted great. Swimming pool was also well maintained, but no kids area. Activity centre was limited with a treadmill, a body massager and some games. Overall, this is an ayurvedic retreat rather than a resort per se. If you are going as a couple to just unwind, it's good. But if you are going with kids for a family picnic, this may not be worth your money.

First off I would like to say it's a heaven,I stayed here for a business trip.Right from the time of arrival the team is on top to serve till the time of check out.Every point they make sure that my stay was really hazzle free.All of the staff members were really professional and i felt that they are serving from their heart.unbelieveavle experience.i also want to make mention of few names.Ashwin - the front office manager is really an asset for the organisation,he handled the entire event very professional manner. Sooraj - The F&B manager was awesome and he was there when ever we required in through out the stay.Jayesh - The. House keeper was really awesome and the entire public area and the rooms were really clean and tidy.Nameer the steward and Shravya/and Orma from front desk were exceptional.i really wish to be back here with my family..More of the The General Manager Mr.Shibeesh is leading the team really well.All the best to Team Niramaya

Vaidekam resort is one of the best places in Kannur I conducted my wedding reception there and the team was very helpful in very way they actually made my event so comfortable and smooth that very one visited liked the place and event. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting kannur

I was at Niraamaya Retreats Vaidekam yesterday, and it was an exceptional experience. The ambience is stunning, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere amidst beautiful surroundings. The staff are incredibly professional and friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The resort's cleanliness is commendable, and the well-maintained pool is perfect for unwinding. The lush greenery, filled with medicinal plants, adds a unique and refreshing touch to the environment. One minor drawback is the lack of clear signage for the exits; we found ourselves wandering around to find our way out. Additionally, adding some outdoor games for kids would enhance the experience for families. Despite these small issues, our overall experience was wonderful. I highly recommend Niraamaya Retreats Taliparamba for a luxurious and rejuvenating getaway.
