Staying at Theva Residency was an unforgettable experience. Perched high in the hills of Kandy, the views overlooking the city and surrounding mountains were absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunrise and sunset. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel at home right away. Our room was modern, spotless, and designed with comfort in mind, while still letting us enjoy the serene atmosphere of the hillside. The infinity pool was a highlight, offering panoramic views while we relaxed. The restaurant served some of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka, combining local flavors with fine dining presentation. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning to return.

We, 3 friends, had a truly memorable experience at Theva Cuisine in Kandy. The setting is absolutely stunning – perched above the city with panoramic views of the lush green hills. It is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a refined meal while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and a wonderful balance of Sri Lankan flavors with an international twist. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, using fresh local ingredients, and the quality really stood out. What made our visit even more special was the warm and attentive service. A special word of thanks to Deepika, the Front Office Manager, who went above and beyond to make our travel arrangement to Kandy town. . Her professionalism, local knowledge, and genuine care made us feel very well looked after. Theva Cuisine is not just about fine dining – it’s about the whole experience of hospitality, comfort, and unforgettable views. While it is priced higher than casual restaurants in town, the quality, service, and atmosphere make it excellent value. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kandy – whether for a special occasion, a romantic evening, or simply to enjoy some of the best cuisine and service in the region.

The stay at Theva residency was excellent. The hotel itself is really lovely with beautiful mountain ranges and stunning scenery, That as a group trip with my besties families, we had wonderful stay. The room was aesthetic well-lit, with a comfortable bed and a clean, modern bathroom." The hotel staff were particularly friendly and very professional. The rooms were clean and regularly maintained. The food is also so good . The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for a long stay.

I went to Theva with a big group of people in the middle of June. All of us had a superb experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay spectacular. Thank you to Iresh and the team for making our visit so memorable. The attention to detail at this hotel was world class, from the food and beverage offerings to the rooms everything was amazing. The view from the property was truly stunning as well, especially in the mornings. There is no better place to stay in Kandy. Theva should be an essential stop for all of the town’s visitors.
