Bamboo House Resort

It's a good place to stay. Staff is friendly. Only point maybe that was less pleasant was the partyboats for us that passing on the river till 23:00. If you don't mind this, then this is a great place to stay .

Family run, staff very helpful and Accommodating. Would advise paying a-bit more for one of the bamboo huts as opposed to the cheaper options, mainly for the space and for the air conditioning, the morning view from the porch and inc. breakfast! All In all a great stop if you’re passing through Kanchanaburi

Been here for a night while visiting Kancanaburi. From their site, it gave me the impression that this place has a big compound but it just a small one. Stayed in the bamboo hut. The hut itself offered limited view of the river as it was obstructed by the floating rooms. Otherwise, hang out on the verandas with snacks and drinks in the evening was relaxing. The accommodation itself is rustic but well maintained. Hot water stable, air conditioner functioning well and the small LCD television has local channel. The garden is well trimmed and the grass is green. The bed is comfortable. My friends and i bought food at the night market and had dinner at the verandas together. Good time indeed. Not so many occupants, maybe 2-3 bamboo hut had visitor. The breakf irst was limited but scrumptious. Reminder u might need insect repellant at night and beware there were also little amount of flies. I saw jet skies cruising on the river but didn't know where was it come from. In the morning had a jogging session to the town (the famous river kwai train bridge). It was near maybe around 2km. To the main city was a bit far, need car/motorbike. Back from jog session had a cool off and stretching session on the resort's jetty. Nice experience. It was tranquil and the environment was calm. I personally like this place and ill be back if visiting Kancanaburi again.

Posto carinissimo, proprio sul fiume. Casette indipendenti in bamboo spartane ma confortevoli e con grazioso patio per sedersi fuori davanti al giardino. La chicca é una piattaforma sull'acqua dove si può mangiare. Il cibo é semplice ma buono (a volte poccante). La signora alla reception parla un buon inglese e fa un ottimo espresso! Il grande prato antistante le casette é molto apprezzato dai bambini.

Posto delizioso. Ristorante sul fiume semplice ma buonissimo. Casette semplici ma accoglienti con il patio per rilassarsi fuori. Lontano dal paese vero e proprio ma vicino a market, cambi, ristoranti e al ponte sul fiume kwai. Staff cortese e preparato
