Radisson Resort Skiathos

Really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Resort. Slightly apprehensive after reading a number of negative reviews but we absolutely loved our 7 day stay. Staff were excellent from reception to waiting to cleaning, so friendly and helpful. No beach towel wars by the swimming pool, in fact we had the whole pool to ourselves on several occasions. Already looking at dates in 2025.

We stayed at the Radisson Resort Plaza Skiathos as part of a British Airways holiday. Both ourselves and friends who were staying at this hotel thought the whole experience was fantastic. The Hotel is secluded, overlooking Kanapitsa beach with amazing views of the sea (Bus stop 12). The Hotel is very modern and clean. Small enough to feel intimate. The breakfast area is modern and airy. You have the option of eating outside. Both hot and cold Breakfast available. Nice selection of breads, fruits, cereals, and hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, etc). The rooms are excellent. Very comfy bed. The best air conditioning I've ever experienced (I've stayed in lots of hotels over the years). Enough cupboard and drawer space to put your clothes away and amazingly lots and lots of coat hangers. Plenty of shampoos, etc in the bathroom. The house keeping was on time and spotless. Modern safe for your belongings and alarmed door into the apartment (never experienced this before).....and finally the staff who work at this Hotel are so helpful and welcoming. Special shout out to Caterina on reception. She was so helpful and always greeted us with a friendly smile. Goes without saying we would definitely stay at this Hotel again. Highly recommended.

There was nothing terrible or bad about this hotel, we just found it to be a bit average. The check in experience was a bit odd. They very helpfully were able to accommodate an early check in due to our arrival time which was really appreciated. However when we were told our sea view room was on floor 1 we asked if there was a higher floor available they seemed really reluctant to give this to us and tried to insist we see the 1st floor room before deciding. Don’t bother, just push for a higher floor. Room was clean. The bathroom is very small but lots of complementary toiletries which is handy if you haven’t packed enough. No bath towels were replaced on the final night so couldn’t shower on morning of departure. The location is a short walk from a little beach (with beach beds) and a lovely taverna. There is also a nice beach club just 15 mins walk away. We only stayed three nights and were glad it wasn’t more.

Amazing staff , great clean hotel and three minute walk from Kanapitsa beach . We had a week here in June and received a great welcome and had such amazing tips and recommendations from the reception team . Thanks Katerina and Stratos for all your help and advice . The breakfast was great and well organised by Kelly and her team . Lovely pool and great rooms with sea view . I would recommend that the emergency lights in the room were dimmed as were very bright and on throughout the night . Apart from that we had a great time and would definitely stay again . S & D

We had a 1 night stop over ….it’s was enough….having said that the waiting staff and reception staff are very nice . Pool closes at 7pm a rather fetching red and white barrier went up and didn’t open until 11am next day ! Booked dinner at 8pm to be told while having drinks at 7.30pm at the bar it had been moved to 8.30pm . Eventually sat down down at 9pm . No black pepper grinder or mint tea . Caesar salad was ok . The waiting staff were trying their best whilst managers a woman and a man sat at the bar drinking !! Then sat down for dinner adding more pressure to the staff . Breakfast ok wanted a parasol up but that couldn’t happen until 9am !!! ….and male manager at bar smoking with his ash blowing over me - I kindling asked him to move . It’s a shame the managers feel it’s beneath them to get their hands dirty when things got very busy and help the staff. The rooms were clean and it’s served it purpose for 1 night but never again . It’s not the place for young children or a holiday .

We booked the hotel literally 2 hours before arrival as our sailing yacht was not ready for a week trip. Easy to get here by taxi and the hotel is nicely located in a quiet corner of the island with a small beach a few metres away where there wasa lovely restaurant. Hotel is white, clean, great pool and good breakfast. It is a standard hotel but if you booked a room with sea view, you had good views. Small bathroom though, is for one person at a time only. I would not stay here for a week holiday but for a one night on our way to Alonnisos, it was fine.
