Cathrin Hotel

Booked this via EasyJet as a special offer. We think this hotel is not 4*. The location is perfect for a quiet stay but close enough to the beaches and Faliraki. The hotel is small and not overcrowded. Clean & tidy. The room we stayed in was aged and needed refurbishment. The mattresses on the beds were rock hard and didn’t allow a goods night sleep. Could not use the shower properly and had to hold the shower head all the time as the wall attachment didn’t hold it in place. Paint work needed touching up and cracked tiles replacing. The bedroom walls especially by the built in wardrobes were paper thin and you could hear everything and a gap you could see into the next room. We had read about the food and drinks not being the best but we thought the choice and quality ok. Hot and fresh, with themed nights. The lady’s in the main room were amazing and treat you like family. Coffee machines at the bars are vile and you won’t get a decent coffee unless at breakfast. The lady serving at the pool bar is always very nice and hardworking. The 2 guys serving at the evening bar are rude and only interested in being polite to young females !! No problems with sunbeds.

Very good hotel! Clean rooms, nice staff, large swimming pool and paddling pool for children, delicious food! If you are traveling with a small child who is still on formula milk, the disadventage is the lack of a kettle to boil water in the room (but the staff does not make a problem and in the restaurant and at the reception you can always get hot water if needed for the child. It was a pleasure to spend a vacation in this hotel. Service at the highest level, always smiling, helpful, polite. The restaurant staff is amazing :) Everyone loves children, they come up to them, entertain them. We are really impressed :) Big thanks to the restaurant manager Dimitro, to the always smiling and very nice Mrs. Renia, to Mr. Dimos - wow wow wow! :D (maybe a skalary increase? ;) ) We recommend it with all our hearts

There wasn’t much food choice, but Georgia and all the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean and the hotel isn’t far from Rhodes or Faliraki which you can access by bus for very good value. We had a lovely sea view room and the location is in a good area.
