During our stay at TUI Blue Lagoon Princess, we reported a serious fire safety issue: a fire extinguisher in one of the hotel restaurants was not fixed to the wall, which is a clear safety violation.
Unfortunately, shortly after making this report, we experienced what felt like retaliatory treatment. During dinner that same evening, the restaurant manager, Lenonia, asked us to leave our table well before other guests were finished eating, even though we had just started our meal.
We felt singled out and very uncomfortable.
Reporting a safety issue should never result in such treatment. This experience deeply affected our overall impression of the hotel.
While the hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, the way this situation was handled by the staff — especially by a person in a leadership position — was completely unacceptable.
We hope that the hotel management addresses this matter seriously and ensures that guests can voice concerns without fear of mistreatment.
