Original Sokos Hotel Alexandra

さすが安心安定のソロソコスグループです。 部屋は少し年季を感じたものの、しっかりと掃除が行き届いていました。 ホテルの１階にレストランが２つあるので夕食は困りません。 また、朝食ブッフェはとても美味しかった。 サウナは男女別になっていて裸で入るスタイルでした。

We arrived for a one night stay with legers coach holiday. This hotel is basic but nice and comfortable. The room was clean. The king bed was comfortable but only had 2 single duvets on. Tea/coffee facilities provided with plenty of items available. Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, hairdryer and iron available. We had a 3 course set meal as a group. The food was nice. Breakfast was basic but very nice. Our evening meal was catered for the group which was nice. 3 courses including starter of artichoke soup and bread, salmon fillet and veg for main and a cake and ice cream for dessert.

On a one night stop over travelling on the luxuria coach with drivers Paul & Paul with Leger holidays on a 16 day Arctic Circle and the land of the midnight sun holiday, very nice hotel, modern, comfortable beds, rooms had everything you needed for your stay, tea and coffee making facilities, they served a lovely three course evening meal and breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, staff very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay. On leaving the hotel we stopped to visit the town of Oulu.

Hotel is located next to a pedestrian street, which makes it great for short walks and cocktails on terraces. There is a bar and a restaurant right next to reception, so not a long walk needed. Staff was friendly and professional. Everybody greeted. All went smooth. We had a Superior King room. View to lobby. Looked really nice, clean and modern. Spacious. Comfy bed. Good pillows. Air conditioner. Minibar. Coffee/tea/cocoa set. TV with chromecast. Bathroom was large and included everything you need. Products by Lumene. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. Coffee was bad, tasted like filtered coffee with double water. I would do some improvements, add some fish and some more egg options? We were there on easter and special points to staff wearing different easter themed items. They even designed boiled eggs :) Overall experience 5/5 and highly recommended.

First time in this hotel. Seems to be in a need for renovation as rooms are a bit worn out. Breakfast served in an area which is not good logistics wise....again some renovation needed... Breakfast as such was ok and if the receptionist weren't so kind and helpful, I would have given 2 points only. Price for room was 112€ and I think this time quality and price do not match. Location is excellent in the heart of the city.

Very good location next to the Travel Center. Parking space behind the Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with great interior decoration. Comfortable bed, and good desk for working. Nice armchair. Very good breakfast. Warm recommendation.

We parked the car in the private parking area, from where it was easy access to the lobby. Our room was larger than expected, but it had a weird window which offered a direct view from the room to the bathroom. So no privacy while taking a shower. I wonder whose idea that has been originally. The only services the hotel offered at the time of our stay was the room and breakfast. Everything else was closed. It was really cold outside so we would have preferred to spend more time at the hotel. Now we had to go out for everything. Breakfast was good but basic - I have had better in Sokos hotels.

The room I got was terrible bad and probably very old room. Totally unpleasant stay. Not recommended. This type of rooms are not expected from any Sokos hotels. I did not find the staff friendly as i found in many other sokos.

Quite an OK very basic hotel. Rooms were OK and clean but nothing fancy. The location is good. Parking provided, for a fee, but the parking spaces are very very narrow and not easy to find (signs missing). Like someone had commented, if you happen to have breakfast during a peak time from logistics point of view there is a lot to improve. Personnel is nice and friendly though.
