Candlewood Suites Junction City/FT. Riley

The entire property is clean and will lit. The lady who checked us in (don't recall her name) was very nice and helpful with a sweet smile. Jason, who checked us out and also helped during our stay, was always very nice and helpful. The room was comfy and clean. Bed slightly harder than our preferred but MUCH better than most beds in this strata of hotel. Bathroom and kitchen were well appointed and designed well. TV was large enough and had plenty of channels. Sitting chair was comfortable as were the chairs at the table. Bed was kinda close to the wall on one side but that was the only thing that was "off" about the room. We had 2 issues during our 2 days. 1) Just after 10pm when we got back to our room we found the TV was not getting a signal. With no success trying all we knew I called the front desk but only got a busy signal. I went downstairs and Jason was quick to offer assistance. He came up to the room with tools in hand. Turned out the Cox cable box was out. He made quick work of locating another and changing it out for us. Even though this was something he had no control over he was very apologetic and so nice about the whole thing. 2) At 5:40am on our check out day the refrigerator suddenly started making a loud noise, waking us. We were able to turn it off (we weren't using it) and go back to sleep. We let Jason know about it as we were leaving so he could get somehow to look at it. As neither issue was anyone's fault, electronics and appliances can go bad or have issues at the drop off a hat, we did not consider these things that affect our review of this nice property. We absolutely recommend this property if you are visiting the area!

The entire team in building 6956 is wonderful and very welcoming! They all kept a comfortable environment and always were looking to help in any way possible. I did not have a negative experience with anyone the entire time I was there. Cannot recommend enough, you must experience it yourself.

Great breakfast, nice selection of cold and hot food. It was record setting cold but we were nice and warm. Each of the ladies at the reception desk were very helpful and went out of their way to meet our needs.

Our stay here has been by far one of our most pleasant stays at a hotel. They have all the amenities you need and more. Everyone was so professional and so kind from the staff at the front desk to the staff at the dining area. Special thanks to Marietta and Cristine, you guys made our stay feel like home.

My family just PCSd from our last duty station in Hawaii and we’re feeling a bit homesick. Marietta at the front desk made us feel instantly at home with her aloha for us and our keiki (kids). She helped us extend our hotel stay, answered all our questions and made suggestions to keep our kids entertained. Every morning she greets her guests with lots of aloha! Our stay has been very comfortable and happy 😊 Thank you Marietta!!

Candlewood Suites was one of the most welcoming stays i have had in a long time. The stay was friendly and had a fantastic energy. The breakfast started my day with great food; nothing could have changed it. I highly recommend staying here compared to other hotels in the area.

I have to say that the hotel management is superb and amazingly professional. She continue to ensure that our stay went well and we had what we needed and or asked for in a timely manner. The representatives that checked us in and out were a direct reflection of the hotel management. I will stay here again. Never received service like this from any Candlewood hotel on or off base. If you need extended stay lodging in Junction City, this is THE place to go. We stayed here for 5 nights while our RV was being repaired. Our king suite room was spacious, and it was nice to be able to close the door to the bedroom if I got up before my wife. We didn't want to have to eat out for every meal, so we were very pleased that the kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped, with a full-size refrigerator (with icemaker), two-burner stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, high-quality pots and pans, plenty of glasses and dishes, and pretty much every other basic cooking utensil you could want. The bed linens were soft and the pillows and mattress were very comfortable. Plenty of storage space throughout the suite, including the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, for an extended stay. Everyone we dealt with on the hotel's staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. And all of this came at a very reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again if we needed a hotel in Junction City, even if it was just for one night.

Hotel was very clean and staff accommodating. The breakfast was great. Nice variety and host was very friendly. Loved making pancakes. Tea selection was better than other hotels. Offered herbal tea and not just Lipton. Definitely would stay again. This is our 3rd day on the road.
