La Couronne

I stayed one night in this beautiful hotel with my husband, prior to visiting with his family in the French Jura region. The hotel is gorgeous, everything is very new and tasteful, nestled in a very pretty village in the Jura mountain region. The bed was super comfortable and the interior design is perfect, chalet-style, lots of light wood, but also charming touches of color. The bathroom was modern, with a big tub and tons of hot water, as well as a shower option. The breakfast was incredible. You choose your menu the evening before (to avoid waste), but you can order as much as you want and it's all locally sourced and delicious. I had the absolutely exquisite Comte cheese, local cured ham, rich local butter, and a wonderful multi-grain toast, as well as a coffee/hot cocoa mix (which I prefer but is almost impossible to get when traveling). My husband had some lovely yogurt and fruit as well. The hotel also does a dinner option and I would definitely try that the next time. I am sure it would be equally delicious! The owner/manager was wonderful. Very warm and welcoming and even let us stay over a few extra minutes to watch the end of a football match in our room! I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return the next time we visit my husband's family in the Jura!!

Très bon accueil Nous avons été très bien reçus dans cet hôtel très confortable et au centre de Jougne. Madame est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Le petit déjeuner est énorme et copieux avec des fromages et charcuterie locale et confitures délicieuses. Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Nous y reviendrons. Laure et Patrick de Namur.

À recommander. Hôtel typique très bien tenu par la sympathique et aidante patronne. Propreté impeccable, sdb avec baignoire nickel, literie top. Possibilité de se détendre à l’arrière dans le jardin, petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits frais et régionaux.., bref gagne à être connu.
