The concierge staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze took only 5 mins.. but the cons is only given 1 key card so if my husband going down to smoke I need to follow cos need to keycard to access the lift .. breakfast was acceptable nice but not much choices but staff was friendly especially Ganesh, he went the extra miles to help my husband get another cup of coffee as he clears my husband empty cups.. definitely a good place to stay... Room was just nice for the two of us

Very good location and nearby to custom. Room has comfortable bed. But hotel breakfast only have few choices.

Quite nice hotel
Didn’t expect the small mineral water 350ml need to cost additional RM 3, when requested extra from the reception.
In the end, we get 1.5L of mineral water also cost RM3

Plenty of nearby amenities and food. Good place for short trip to savour your favourite DimSum etc. will book again

The hotel is located near to the custom and several shopping centre. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ok,not much choices.

A Memorable Stay at Fives Hotel JB
My recent 2-day, 1-night stay at Fives Hotel JB near the CIQ was nothing short of exceptional. Its prime location, just a 5-minute walk to JBCC, made exploring the area effortless. Surrounded by convenient shops, the hotel provided easy access to everything one might need during their stay.
The room was not only clean but also provided a conducive a**osphere for relaxation. The service and ambience of the hotel were equally impressive, adding a touch of luxury to the experience.
One highlight was the breakfast buffet, offering a good variety of options to suit every palate. The value for money was evident throughout my stay, making it a worthwhile inves**ent.
Overall, my experience at Fives Hotel JB surpassed expectations, and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and convenient stay in JB.

FIVES HOTEL JB MALAYSIA! A place must try to stay! With your families and friends, whether you are a solo a backpacking traveler, satisfied with the experience during my stay. A five minutes walk from JB Central Immigration Checkpoint and a lovely malls you can easily get to do a shopping or craving for a “ MAKAN” LOVELY EXPERIENCE…

The room WiFi connection is limited to one device. Device 1 will disconnect if device 2 is connected. Wifi connection also very slow.
When I asked for extra water, the front desk worker informed me that I would have to pay RM3. For this reason, I gave my rating 1. Not agreeable.
The location is one advantage. I won't stay at this hotel unless such is the case.
