I have stayed at other La Quintas before and this one, while OK, was not of the same caliber. First the pros: Check in was easy, front desk greeter very friendly, nice lobby, room clean, spacious, and bed comfortable, hot breakfast included. The cons: Breakfast lacked milk, cereal, bagels. The door to my room was difficult to close and needed some kind of adjustment (which I reported upon checkout). While the bathroom was recently updated and looked nice, the old tub was still in place with discolored (moldy) grout on the tiles. For a handicapped accessible room, the tub should really be replaced with a walk in shower. What I disliked the most was how they processed payments. At other La Quintas, my credit card was simply charged the room fee plus taxes. Done. At THIS La Quinta, however, I was charged a $75 "incidental" fee, which was then reversed, then I was charged the room rate PLUS another incidental fee. Very annoying. As of this moment I am still overcharged and waiting to see if a credit comes through. I will not stay here again, simply for this strange billing practice which seems sketchy to me.
