Castle View Haveli

Absolutely enchanting stay at Castle View Homestay! The heritage Haveli ambiance truly makes you feel like royalty. Perfect for couples with a romantic atmosphere. The rooftop restaurant adds an extra touch of magic to the experience. Highly recommend!

If you want to experience stay in old jodhpur city, Castle View is the place to goto. The location is very close to the fort and you get to see excellent uninterrupted view of the fort. The rooftop restaurant is very cosy where you can spend hours enjoying the view. The staff is very courteous and maintain the property well. The rooms are regular in size and decor is very artistic. It is an Old Haveli converted to a homestay. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Unique and quirky guesthouse in an old building in the Navchokiya area of Jodhpur, which is a quieter neighborhood than the busy clock tower old city area. Accessed via a narrow alley and lots of steep stairs inside so won't be good with anyone with mobility issues. The rooftop patio and restaurant area has stunning views. The room had very unique decor and my room had a stunning view of the fort (although I couldn't really leave the windows open for very long because pigeons live immediately outside the windows). No sheets on the bed just a blanket and also the rug on the floor was dirty. Service is a bit mixed, was staffed mainly by somewhat bored young men, there was nobody there when I arrived to checkin, and restaurant service was a bit slow. Power outages at certain times made staying in the room far too hot. But overall, this still would be a very recommended place to stay, due to the good price value, very interesting and unique decor, quiet neighborhood, and amazing views.

You HAVE to stay here!! The location is amazing, the view from the terrace of the old town and the fort is breathtaking. The food and drinks from the restaurant were such good value for money. The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is like nowhere else we have ever stayed - once in a lifetime! The only thing to bear in mind is that you have to get a tuktuk on arrival as the streets in the old town are too narrow for taxis but this was not a bad thing at all!

I did not expect what I got. I stayed in a 500 year old heritage home which is converted into a hotel. The owner is very nice and came up and spent time talking to us which was Much appreciated. The Home stay located on what ever little is left of the Blue City. The room I had was very comfortable and air conditioned. Over all stay was Pk. Some work needs to be done on the room service staff and staff training in general. Other than that it was lovely.

After following a dark street and trying hard to find the place we found the Haveli, full of paintings, decoration, stairs and many more details impossible to describe. Very old place, the room was big, I could not open the windows because the pigeons would enter the room Bathroom was ok, not too dirty, (never clean in India).
